I think I ruined the most important holiday of my life – my honeymoon. All the credit goes to Jesh Wilson Travel Agency. All I really wanted to do was surprise my wife with a beautiful honeymoon. She wanted a picture perfect honeymoon in Europe unfortunately it just turned out to be disastrous.
I had approached Jesh Wilson Travel Agency to design a honeymoon tour for me and I was very specific that I wanted the whole experience to be romantic from the beginning till the end. I had left it upon them to organize everything. Unfortunately their definition of romantic is very different from what a newly wed couple would expect.
The minute we landed in Austria, we were looking forward to a week of relaxation and romance. But this dream was soon shattered as no cab was booked to pick us up. We waited for almost 50 minutes before we called Rajesh Wilson the travel coordinator of Jesh Wilson Travel Agency and asked him about the whereabouts of the pickup service. We were simply told to find a way to reach the hotel and they couldn’t help us with anything. They were rude on the phone and not one percent considerate about us. We made international calls to explain our situation and all they did was meant to shut us up. They don’t even bother apologizing.
We thought things would brighten up once we reach our hotel. We were promised a 5 star property. But to my surprise it was barely a 3 star hotel. On arrival we were told that no suite was booked under our name and we were given an ordinary room. My wife was expecting an exclusive room adorned with red roses and the best of wines, for which I had readily paid more. But to our surprise, as soon as we opened the room, we were welcomed with utter disappointment. The room smelled stale and it was dark. The bed was dusty and bathroom had not been cleaned well. We settled our bags and went down to have some breakfast, which was barely edible. We offered to pay the hotel more for a suite, but since we had booked through a travel agency, they wouldn’t allow us to switch rooms. We stayed there one night, which we spent, practically awake because of the constant noise from the nightclub below. After that, I couldn’t take it anymore and we decided to move into some other hotel.
Three days into the trip, we were scheduled to visit a ski lodge. We had already pre booked the place. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a board that said that the ski lodge was closed for the entire season. I just can’t believe it that a travel agency can cheat customers so blatantly. Booking a wrong hotel and a ski lodge, which is not even open, is ridiculous. We tried to contact the travel agency once again. This time, no one picked our calls. Irresponsible coordinator Rajesh Wilson. Sometimes I feel I wasted my honeymoon just coordinating with the agency and shifting hotels. I suggest no one should hire them.
