Jessica Marie Cobb BAD Tenant / Liar Extraordinaire Madison Tennessee

I rented my home to Jessica $225 per month. She is a single mom with 2 children.  My mortage is $221 so I just need to cover that end. I moved into the small home  2/2006 and lived there with my two daughters and my grand daughter. My daughter moved out 7/2012 and I moved out of the home 10/2012.  The home stayed empty for over a year while the neighbors and I feed and cared for the dogs; Fred, Red, and Weasel (They were raised there and the neighbors loved my dogs watchfulness)before Jessica moved in 08/2013.  She cleaned the home, that had been my storage unit, and did some repairs...

she did things that I told her I could not afford for her to do, as I have a meger income and I am  full-time college student.  I waived the following: 1st months rent ($300, so she could prepare the home), 1/2 of the second month's rent ($150), security deposit ($600), cleaning fee ($150), application fee ($35), Pet Deposit ($100) and additional monthly fee for her 3 pets ($10 per month per cat/dog) additional Adult tenants (+$100 per month).  I also left the Power & Water Service in MY NAME, because the deposit on that would have been around $500, and she couldn't afford that.  

She asked if she could use some of my personal belongings, and since I felt I could trust a friend of my daughter's, I didn't mind (I was happy to help); so I left, for her to use, a rod iron enamled backer's rack, a 1200watt microwave, a 150+ year old antique vanity with mirror, a rubbermaid folding side table.  Rent started at $300; I lowerd it to $225 in December 2013, Jessica gave her months notice in February. Jessica's payment for half the month of August.  The home looked marvious when she was done and moved in.  Although she told many lies and did things she didn't do, and vise versa.

Many of my personal belongings wer thrown out without a care when she cleaned up, she threw out the bakers rack, and the microwave instead of putting them in my garage with my other belongings....so mean.  The bakers rack was given to me 20 years ago.....so Jessica bought a second hand bakers rack identicle to mine and told me it was mine when I moved out...she admitted that her story of the rack getting stole from the porch while she took a break from cleaning it....lie, she didn't want to clean it so she bought a new one just like it, later she told me it was mine and she would leave it when she moved out.  

She really needed the folding table when she was painting, there was a hand sander, I took it when I packed my stuff, I had noticed that she was using it on the wood floors she insisted on refinishing, I told her wehn she asked why I took it, that I didn't want her to use it on the floors, that you weren't not to use circcular motions on the wood when sand it.  She swore that she wasn't using it on the floors and that she needed it to finish sandint the windows....well....her's the text message I got a few weeks ago about the handsander....remember...seh wasn't using it on the floors.

That morning 3/31 at 3:30 am somone driving a late 90's large white suv with floorboard foot lights pulled into the yard, went in the front door, removed everything including the bathroom mirror, the personal clothing, cleaning materials, the all of Jessic'as remaining belongings and all of my property, they didn't take the stove, but they tried to get the vanity, but that had to take it apart for it to fit in the suv...and so they tried and they left it too...the curtains and everything including the bathroom mirror she said she'd miss gone, but whoever it was staged it to look like a break in....her stuff was in there too....but she didn't complain...she did call to tell me that when she got there after her 10:30 am text that her personal belongings wher gone...

she never complain...not one stroke..until I reminded her that the friends that helped her pack and move forgot her photos albums.....so she called to copsa and told them I would send her photos to her until she paid the light bill.........she paid only $200 of it after bitching at her and nagging her......she lied for a week about gonna pay it.....my dad call the Water and Power Company and paid the remainder of the bill, said it was my birthday money...Jessica and I share the same birthday...that's sucks...she stole from me....so I have he photos albums....sha said she would pick them up...stil hasn't....guilty I suppose, can't look me in the eye....liar!!!

SHE NEVER ONCE TOLD ME HER THINGS WERE STOLEN YET SHE SAID SHE WAS COMING TO GET THEM, SHE NEVCER GOT UPSET ABOUT THE BREAK-IN...THEY WENT THROUGHT THE TROUGBLE TO KICK IN THE BACK DOOR.   I have three dogs back there and the neighbors never heard them bark....becaue they knew who it was in the house.....lol.
