Complaint Review: Jessica Wood
Jessica WoodPO BOX 352 SECANE, Pennsylvania United States of America
Jessica Wood Dior Adora Jessica Wood stole merchandise from me equaling over 100.00 in retail value and did a paypal dispute. SECANE, Pennsylvania
*UPDATE Employee: Patricia West Martin, owner of Red Carpet Box
I own a beauty subscription company and Ms. Wood was notified before hand on Facebook that I could not fulfill purses this month and would substitute with a Borghese nail lacquer. She even ''liked'' the post so she acknowledged it and then when she got her package she immediately emailed me about the expired product and I promised I would replace it.
Here is her email from her:

I would like to first off by saying thank you for the excellent service on the shipping! I am really sad to say this but I am not really happy with my box at all! First I will start off with the sunglasses! Cute good choice but not for me! Which os fine because that is apart of the gamble! Then i looked at the stila moistorizin tint! It has an expiration date of oct 2011! So expired product! Then my eyeliner was all the way out to the cap no way to bring it down and im sure the eyeliner will break after once pressing it towards my eye! I dont expect any kind of refund but I cant do a review on this box! It will all be given away or thrown away because i have swnsiive skin and dont wanna chance expired makeup! Thank you for the personal touches to your products very cute! I hope everyone else loves their boxes!
I responded back:Hi Jesse,
First of all, this is TERRIBLE! I am going to write the manufacturer ASAP on the expired item you got! Out of 100 items from the warehouse, I didn't even EXPECT this! I have the same box of tint in my lap. I can't find the expiration date! Where is it located? Can you elaborate further on the Avon? Do you mean it was it was unsealed? All the Avon was sealed and had NO plastic cap on the cap. I will have to open one to see what you mean. Can you help me find the expiration date on the tint? We had so much communication that I didn't realize you had a tiny face and large glasses would not suit. I thought the Betsey Johnson brand and the style was very trendy, but everyone has their own face shape and I am sorry that the glasses did not fit your face. Of course I am going to fix this! I need to call my make-up distributer as soon as possible with this issue! This is THE LAST THING I NEED! I wouldn't use expired product either!
I will keep in touch and please note that this is not the end of my customer service! I was SO hoping that you would like your box the best and it turned out to be a very disturbing and unhappy experience for me as well.
If you could help me find the location of the expiration of the tint, I will deal with that first, then the Avon, then the sunglasses.
I never heard from her again and our policy is to return any items that are defective in nature and I will replace them to her satisfaction. The Avon pencil is delicate and was sealed all the way from the top to the very bottom. I inspected all of them. She instead stole my items and did a paypal dispute in the amount of 25.00. She is an avid poster of makeuptalk.com a forum for beauty interests and said she was going to throw all my items in the trash. I am doubtful this happened as I gave her the best sunglasses and the best world class beauty creme available.
What I am trying to convey here is I was scammed by a woman pretending to help me and to get the creme she wanted and then once she got her package she claimed she was angry for not getting a purse and Korres eyeshadow. I posted I was substituting the purses for Borghese nail lacquer which she also received and she saw the post on facebook and ''liked'' it at the time and I waited to see if it was okay with everyone and she never responded but she did see the post.
The purses are equal in value to the nail lacquer. I didn't have the proper shipping materials as my husband picked up the wrong sized box from the post office. She is now posting on makeuptalk.com and bashing me and my company and won't send the items back to me. She has opened a dispute with paypal claiming I offered her purses and pretended to not know about the substitute. Even in her last email with me she did not mention the purse issue to me. She only insisted she did not like the box.
However, she has gone off the deep end and even more troubling she is encouraging others to take action against me or not do business with me. Here is this thread she is on: http://www.makeuptalk.com/t/128791/red-carpet-box/180. She is known as Dior Adora on there and has posted so many threads that it has caused troubles with my company and my number of likes went down and people backed out from dealing with me. She plain and simple stole my items to keep even though on forums she has posted she was ''throwing it all in the garbage" when my policy is for her to return the items. She is a very loose cannon. She bought two packages from me, one for her sister who was very satisfied and one for herself.
She keeps adding more fuel to the fire every single day without contacting me so people will believe I am the scam artist and she is not. I have lost several clients and I am only a start up company trying to make a living with a brain tumor and work keeps me focused on positives.
She has lied so many times about our correspondence that I am truly troubled for my company and my family. I have seven children and a husband and I am trying my best to make a decent living and to pay my medical bills. She and another woman who calls herself "Zadidoll" will not stop at anything to shut me down. Zadidoll was not even my customer! However, Zadidoll has dissuaded my perspective clientele as well since she is a paid and respected moderator of the forum. I was told by Irene Byron that another beauty box service who had the same issue with slanderous and scandalous posts that they were now ''okay'' and she helped them gain their reputation back as well as she would do for me. I refused and took offense. What is being said is beyond freedom of speech, it is also tortuous interference when people deny you the right to speak on your own company's behalf unless you pay them thousands of dollars a year. I feel sorry for the companies that caved in. At those rates and the business I am in, it is almost impossible to even break even.
As a matter of fact, only a few women on this forum were my actual clients! The owner of the forum, Irene Byron is ignoring me because I refused to pay enormous fees to have the post removed. She insisted she would rectify it if I paid her an exorbitant amount of fees monthly.
Once I refused and told her this was unlawful and not only that, she would not allow me to post a defense on her forum unless I paid her fees. It is my feeling and gut that Irene Byron is enjoying this dramatic thread with people I have no dealings with for the most part. Irene sought me out and then trouble began. It has not stopped nor do I believe it will. It has already caused me great harm. Irene Byron, the owner of the forum will not let me speak unless I pay. She says she is an SEO agent and will put me on multiple websites at fees I could not even imagine! Be aware of Jessica Wood. Do not let her purchase from you online. She is a thief and not only a thief but a malicious and even unbalanced person. Irene Byron just wants my money and I simply told her no and she hung up on me but also told me she won't be helping me. Please, please stay away from this forum. It is a nightmare. Here is the thread to my company and even to my reputation: http://www.makeuptalk.com/t/128791/red-carpet-box
