This is the message that I sent to the only point of contact available to Mr. Bob Bove, per the manager JD at the Val Vista/Warner location:

Hi Mr. Bove:
I just got off the phone with "JD" your manager for the fourth time today. My daughter was sent to change the oil only. In the interim, your manager, upsold my daughter on a serpentine belt for a quote of $79.95 which they charged $99.99 and after she agreed, unknowningly because she, nor I are a mechanics. So they didn't have this belt in stock and had to go to the store to purchase it. They had issues, 5 men over the car, and two witnesses, one of your customer told her verbatim: "they've been selling that part all morning". Bottom line, my daughter calls me, to double check, too late! She leaves the establishment, I've been coming to for 4 years at this location.
Mind you, this is beyond my wildest belief. She leaves, within 2 seconds the car stalls at Warner/Val Vista. I have a police report and numerous calls in/around 12:42PM, wherein the Gilbert Emergency Tow brings her back, and your men want to upsell her more, and tell her she needs more services, that were never mentioned - you know 'manufacturer recommendation.' I immediately have my daughter bring our car to our local Nissan/Superstition Springs location and $330.00 later, they have to replace the idle belt pulley and dead battery because according to the diagnostic technician, the original serpentine belt caused it by coming undone and hitting it. So now, I ask you Mr. Bove, what are you going to do to rectify this $440.00 situation that your shop caused and I have paid out of pocket? Your manager, would not give me your number and was condescending to my inquiries and I am beyond speechless.
