Jiffy Lube I got Lubed by Jiffy Snellville, Georgia

   I took my 2007 Dodge truck that only has 45k on it, bought new, to Jiffy Lube instead of to my regularly used mechanic in order to save some time and travel. It is a 40 mile round trip to my mechanic and I pass right by Jiffy Lube on a daily basis. I have never used Jiffy Lube before and I will never use them again.
   I only requested a simple oil change. They took my air filter out without asking if they should check it and proceeded to show me how dirty is was. They also insisted that I needed some new wiper blades which were new and a few other services that I did not request. The estimated cost was $232.00.
   I left with only the oil change being done at a cost of $60, about twice what everyone else is charging.
   The next day I noticed some oil underneath my truck, they had over filled it. I also noticed that my on board computer showed that my fuel economy had dropped from 17 to 12. The air filter was removed, it had been saturated with OIL, which was accumulating dirt and plugging it up. I purchased a new one from Pep Boys and put it in myself. It is a little more than suspicious as to how Oil just happened to get in the air filter just after having an oil change done. It cost me $50 for a new filter.
  After reading some of the other complaints about Jiffy Lube, maybe I should consider myself lucky !
