Charged $80 to replace a head light bulb - was told usually have to take off bumper - which is strange because my son is a technician for Mercedes and has done this in the past without removing the bumper. Additionally was 'cautioned' about battery cables, also odd because the battery is top of the line from Sears and barely two months old. BTW-checked for corosion when I got home and it was minimal. Didnt get the customary car wash because it was sprinkling and computers were off line, so couldnt check for recall info. To further add insult I called Libertyville Nissan and was quoted $45. If Nissan corporate reads this - I am shopping for a new vehicle right now and because of this and previous experiences Nissan is not on the list.

We do try to do a safety inspection on each vehicle in our service department. Our techs do not always have the knowledge that a battery has been replaced. They simply wanted to point out the fact there was minimal corrision on the batttery because that is what they saw. I am sorry that they were unaware it was brand new.
I do hope you give Nissan another chance. Nissan, like this dealership, is always trying to improve our customer service. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate but to call at 815.459.2288.
