Dear perspective customers,

Please be advised that Jim Norton Toyota of Lawton Oklahoma treats their customers in the following ways:

Refusal to honor their own 1000 point inspection or their Platinum warranty.  We bought a car there that was out of oil, had a broken washer fluid container and had missing bolts from the bumper (the screws had ripped free from the undercarriage).  When we took it to be repaired the first time, my wife was told repairs contained in the Platinum warranty were at the descretion of the car lot, as were those covered on their 'guaranteed inspection'.  Also, the mechanic took her back to the bay to look at the bumper, pointed out a scratch no where near the missing screws and told her to prove it was like that when she bought it.  The parts sales rep. tried to pressure her into buying a complete new front bumper to the car, telling her the mechanic would not be able to fix it any other way.

Before arriving there, my wife read the Platinum warranty so she would know what she was talking about.

While I was driving down the road today, the bumper completely blew off the car.  I took it in this time.  I was introduced to a man calling himself the 'manager', tall guy with cowboy boots, who said he had dealt with my wife.  She had never seen him before, she dealt with a female before.  This man then called her a liar when she reiterated the story that the mechanic told her to prove it.  The outcome was they painted a self tapping screw black with a locking washer and reattached the bumper.  The mechanic denied even speaking to my wife, which was a lie, how else could she describe him?

Now what happens when the vibration of driving down the road unscrews this bolt, pops the tire, and it kills me or god forbid someone else, will that painted screw really make a difference?  Is that what my family is to tell someone?  Jim Norton Toyota made everything better with this painted screw and it's not their fault the bumper killed your loved one, even though our Platnum warranty and their 1000 point inspection says it replaces those things?  Get real!  Honor your products and honor your customers!
