Jim Sullivan Sunset Alarm, Inc. ADT Alarm Systems Authorized Dealer Santa Ana, California

Upon moving our business into a new location, we decided to call Jim Sullivan with ADT (misrepresented on door stickers, as he really represents Sunset Alarm, an allegedly authorized ADT dealer) for a price quote. We were told that for $99/month, our alarm system would be installed, maintained and if necessary serviced.

Jim's enthusiasm in the pre-sale period was enormous; as soon as a contract was signed, however, there was no more interest in customer service and support, phone calls on our part were ignored or not returned, and when issues with a malfunctioning sensor came up, Jim would not remember ever talking to us.

In the end, we found ourselves with a hefty bill from City of Santa Ana Police Services for responses to false alarms caused by a malfunctioning system and oblivious to Jim Sullivan. When my associate called Jim to inquire about how he suggested we remedy the issue, he called her crazy.

We now filed a complaint with ADT directly in the hopes to encounter a better level of customer service in their ranks. If you happen to have a residence or business in the Santa Ana area, in the interest of your own well-being stay away from Sunset Alarm and Jim Sullivan (who, coincidentally, uses several different phone numbers, 949, 714 area codes as well as a toll-free number).
