Joe Janas has been defrauding home owners for many decades.  He uses his family including his wife and children to show a legitmate appearance and they are all working together to take your money and leave you with incomplete and dangerous work.  The State of New Jersey has been trying desperately to prosecute him on criminal charges, but Mr. Janas knows how to ride the line between Civil and Criminal Law.  He does just enough work to appear as though he made "an effort" to complete his work and suddenly had an issue with an impossible to please customer.  This allows him to avoid criminal prosecution and it becomes a civil matter.  This is a very common scam and Joe Janas is the king of them.  If you do a background check you will find multiple pages of people who have  judgments against him all of which have gone unsatisfied - millions of dollars.  Thank god for the internet and those of you who are checking on him. It is astounding to me that he is still pulling the same scam and the authorities have done nothing about it.

I have a hard time believing this has gone on for so long and the state Attorney General has done nothing about it.
