Hi i came across these to in the Philippines (Cebu) and they employed my call center to work for them (American Honor) and it was not long before we new what they where up to we where located in IT Park TGU building 5th floor. If anyone wants to know more of these 2 i have it all even down to the hotel they stayed in sharing the same room with under age girls in there room and you can guess the rest what was going on. I have received many calls on the Ottomans.  I had a lawyer to take Ottomans and the general contractor to court in LA.  Unfortunately my attorney was weak and like most did not understand the law.  It is tough that you have to pay to educate the attorneys.  The general contractor use did not show up in court with any written information on the pay out to Ottoman or what it took to complete the job.  The project manage for the general contractor, I just consider a lair to cover up his mistakes with employing Ottoman.  The Ottomans were not licensed to work in the state nor had workmans comp.  Ottoman insurance company, The Beacon insurance company supplied me with Ottomans coverage and Ottoman is only has coverage in the state of RI.  The general contractors management was aware of this and did not require Ottomans to perform to state law.  The general contractor agreed with my attorney in the judges chambers to settle on $3,000, I did not any say in the matter.  This did not cover my court and attorney fees.  On the job I had a stain to the right leg and hospital cost was over $23,000.  Come to find out the general contractor and Ottoman skated out the workmans comp. every means possible.  They considered me as a sub-contractor.  I get numerous calls from people attending to sue Ottoman but can not make a report on this site until the sue is settled, good luck.  I have been asked by several companies to get a license in LA.  I have refused to do so.  LA has several laws to protect the workers and contractor but it appears as to have the deepest pockets.  There were more spent on lawyers to skate around the workers comp. and pay roll that not only I lost but the other 8 men.  Watch out for the Ottomans, John, Laura Johnson and son sean.  Ottoman list companies, corporations and all there phone numbers in neighboring states.  I called upon about the general contractor, I'll inform you about them also.

You are correct - John Ottman of RI is also the same person in the Philippines.  My suggestion to you all - contact the U.S. FBI.

Ive been writing about an American guy in the Philippines.  He also goes by the name John Ottman and works doing maintenance work for brand name companies in the US .. renovation maintenance. 

Anyone would like to discuss similarities between your maintenance guy and mine and whether theyre one and the same.

He hired me too ... but as my schedule was loaded .. I refused ... and later learned that the two people who joined with me for trng din get paid either.

The saga goes on. We have retained an attorney and have filed suit against Ottman, and General Contractor.  Ottman appears to have fallen off the face of the earth, does not receive certified mail, answer old phone numbers.  Present law suit on file in state of Louisiana listing Ottman, GC, property management, property owner, and bonding company.  Ottmans workers comp is only local in his area and does not cover out of state and does not bond jobs.  Also contractors license is a state requirement and Ottman was not listed in the state.  Will update next time something happens.
