JRP TAMPA ROCK !!!! I can say that over and over !!! I wish that people take a good look at themselves and realize that blaming others is not always the answer.

My son has been going to JRP Tampa for almost 1 year and we could not have made a better choice to put him there to start his modeling career. When we first started David, the owner of JRP Tampa told us that not everyone will be picked and even if you get picked, not everyone will be successful. We still decided to give our son the chance to start his modeling Journey. They did everything they told us about and more.

The classes our son previously took, and the classes he is taking now are amazing. He is so happy to go there every week. They made him feel comfortable since the beginning. We came into this business not knowing anything but JRP Tampa walked us thru every steps of the way.

David, Kristi, Mary and the rest of the Team are amazing. They are so dedicated to make the kids successful ! After couple of months our son signed with DK modeling and just this week he just signed to be managed with FORD MODELS in MIAMI !!!!! and that is THANKS TO JRP TAMPA AND THEIR DEDICATION TO THE KIDS !!!

All the castings JRP Tampa are offering are REAL !!!! It is not because your child is not picked that you need to blame the school. Maybe your child needed to learn is script better, or because he should have been dressed a different way, or to quite that day...... Do not blame the school they are here to help you success ! They can help but can not do it for you !!!!!!

Do not listen to negative people !!! May be some JRP school around the country are scams but I can tell you for sure that JRP TAMPA (David Martin the owner) are fully dedicated to help you. Especially to make sure that people in this business are not "RIPPING YOU OF" by educating you as parents and your children about the entertainment business.

Just like anything in life you have to work hard at it to be good and get better. No exception to this craft. My child attends JRP in Tampa and though I take everthing with a grain of salt, I am learning as time goes by. We joined because my daughter wants to work on this craft. I have made her very aware that it takes a lot of hard work to make it and her feet are placed on the ground firmly so she does not become disspointed if nothing happens.

I am not rich I just made a big sacrifice to give her an advantage that others do not have. Hey, what you take with you in life is what you learned and no one can take this away from you. I am a hands on mom and I keep tabs on everything.

Communication is vital. You must commnicate with them and give them the opportunity to teach you. I was very impressed with the fact they mentioned that a child's education comes first and that the child has to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher to stay with them.

Remember, the greater your responsibility the harder you have to work. It is not all the glamour you see in TV there is the behind the scenes we do not get to see and I am sure a lot of hard work goes on there. 6 of the 20 classes. WOW. Come on dude, get real!

My mom told me once, "no matter what you decide to do in life just be great at it"! Sure is something that I live by. It keeps it real.

In response to Mr. SHAD HEWITT former student of JRP Tampa...

Shad Hewitt was a student with JRP Tampa beginning in October of 2007. He claims that we do not train and that he was lied to. I can assure you this is not true and that JRP Tampa is very upfront about our opportunities and training. Regarding his comment about the chairs and talking... I believe any type of education requires lecture and participation. CURIOUSLY ENOUGH SHAD HEWITT IS MAKING THESE CLAIMS WHEN HE ONLY ATTENDED 6 OF THE 20 WORKSHOPS HE ENROLLED FOR. HOW COULD ANYONE EXPECT TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING WITH OUT FOLLOW THROUGH AND COMMITMENT. THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT DISPLAYED ON SHAD'S BEHALF. According to Mr. Shad Hewitt "when an agent comes and you have to go perform in front of them in another small room and that is, agents you have never heard of." I am sure with Mr. Shad Hewitt's vast lack of knowledge of the industry he is familiar with all the agents in the world. Moving on to Mr. Shad Hewitt's comment regarding having to pay to live or move to Los Angeles... I am not sure where Mr. Hewitt received his obvious misleading information... Everyone who moves to pursue this business will pay their own way to live, travel, eat, train and for photos. This is how the business works no one is going to pay for you to move or live. I think this is a pretty obvious fact. But again, with Mr. Shad Hewitt's lack of knowledge and experience in this business he would have no clue how this works. Mr. Shad Hewitt also commented on a young lady who sang back up for Brittney Spears and was back at JRP and why would she need to come back if he had reached that level. Well Shad to be successful you have to be persistent and keep following through and working to improve yourself. This is fact to be successful at anything in life. THIS SEEMS TO BE WHERE MR. It is people like this who obviously went on here and read some comments and just basically "cut and pasted" what they read by others on this same site. If Mr. Shad Hewitt would have followed through with what we do, and if Mr. Shad Hewitt was willing to work at this he may of had some success with this. My daughter has been going to JRP Tampa for 3 years. Not only does she love it, but it has taught her how to be confident about herself. The classrooms do have chairs lined up along the walls, as to free up the floor space for acting, and the students sit in those chairs while receiving acting lessons from their coaches. I as a parent have been invited to sit in on these classes and have been shown exactly what the students are learning. Each week JRP Tampa has brought in Agents to hold auditions and my daughter has been signed with 3 agents in Florida and has gone on many casting calls and has been in a music video. We have met and auditioned for many agents from LA and NY and they are well known agents that have great reputations. We personally have several friends and fellow students who have moved on to LA to try their luck out there. If you get an agent in LA then you have to move there or travel back and forth on your own dime. Nobody pays it for you. Luck, yes it is luck along with talent. The competition is fierce because there are so many people out there trying to make it to the big time. So what are your expectations? I personally have never heard JRP Tampa promise anyone fame and fortune, only the training & opportunity to help you get there. But YOU have to do all the work and yes it is expensive. JRP Tampa is a school and just like any other school, you can attend as long as you are willing to pay tuition. Every little girl wants to be the next Hannah Montana, but they have to WORK HARD for it and if you end up being less than famous, so what.
