My mattress also sagged 1 1/4 inches in 3 weeks without anyone on it and 5 inches with a body on it. I was told to rotate the mattress and if rotating 180 degrees as the instructions indicated I might try rotating only 90 degrees. I am glad I did not have a single bed. Sleeping cross ways would have been difficult. If I had a double bed that would still be difficult as my feet would have been floating in the air.

If I had a queen size bed I would have barely made it. Luckily I bought a king size mattress and there is gap at the foot of the bed and the mattress does not hang over the edges a great deal but It is tolerable for someone under 5' 10". Put a large blanket across the foot of the bed so you do not crack your shins when walking around the bed. Also close the door to bed room when company comes as explaining the situation is demeaning and tedious.

In summary, unless this sounds like fun, and you are under 5' 10" and buying a king size mattress  go some where esle to purchase a mattress.     Brian will explain why the lump in the middle of the bed is not a problem.
