I opened up a small retail store with my college roommate immediately after graduating from college. This was not the first business I have operated so I figured it would be easy. My landlord suggested that we spice up our location so that it stands out beyond our competitors.

 I agree to pay a recommended "interior designer" to draw up a schematic that appeals to the demographic I was looking for. Originally, it all went good. However, he began finding ways to scam us out of hard earned money by paying his people to do certain construction and painting. For example, we paid him $1600 to paint one back wall a custom green color ($30 a gallon/ .5 gallon was required) and hang up to slat walls. This was the first stage of the rip off.

 Secondly, we gave this guy money to build a custom cabinet that he designed in his schematic of the store. He stopped answering calls for weeks and I contacted the people who referred me and they basically didnt know what to tell me. For the first 2 months he would answer and tell me he was on the way with the cabinet. Then, he was saying his mother was in the hospital, then he said he was waiting on checks to clear and he would pay me back because he couldn't get the job done. Blah Blah Blah.....

Im a pretty smart guy and I know when something is wrong. The man has decided not to answer calls for the past 6 months. I am not sure why he has chosen this route for a measly $400. 

I have better things to do than sit here and make things up. This guy is a scumbag who has chosen to STEAL and be a coward rather than reimburse me $400 that I am owed.
