My wife took our car into Store #24 in McKinney for the $99 Special. She was then told that the drum was leaking, rotors were shot, etc and that the repairs were going to be $700. When she told them to put everything back on, they refused. Essentially holding the car hostage for payment. We I called the manager Mike to get an explanation he told me and I quote "To go f*** myself".
This is a very unethical company. The corporate headquarters does not return phone calls or emails. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR there.

No Cure For Stupid

There's no cure for Stupid!
I'd never put my kid in a vehicle that just had all for corners done for $99.
Drums don't leak, but wheel cylinders sure can! It's no wonder they wouldn't warranty new brake shoes without replacing the wheel cylinders. No one would ever warranty brake shoes they knew would quickly become saturated with the brake fluid leaking from cylinders.
Becoming an informed consumer goes a long way. The Federal Trade Commission has a website just for you! www.ftc.gov. As well, www.ehow.com is another awesome website for the consumer to learn about something they know nothing about PRIOR to making a ridiculous online complaint.
Dateline NBC aired an entire scam slam on Just Brakes just a couple years back. Youtube it.

POSTED: Friday, July 13, 2012Wake up people and smell the roses. Pull your head out of your proverbial butt and go to a shop that has a good reputation, the owner is on location and they hire ASE certified technicians. Just Brakes in my area had no ASE technicians the last time I checked. None would work for that company. They are the laughing stock of the service industry.
As P.T. Barnum supposedly said, "There is a sucker born every minute". Any customer of Just Brakes is just that...a sucker.
