So we went out into the middle of nowhere to purchase a puppy from Justin. While we were there we let him know that we wanted a male pomeranian, he had 2 left, a tan one and a black one. we decided on the tan one. Before leaving, Justin assisted us in filling out the paperwork that we needed to mail in to get Scotty registered with AKC.
We took our puppy to the vet with in 2 days (mind you we already mailed out the AKC paper work) and the vet told us that our "male" puppy was actually a female.
We immediately called Justin to let him know of the situation and he stated that "you are lucky because you paid cheaper for "her" because we thought it was a "he". " I was shocked, i let him know that this was more than we bargained for because we didn't want a female. He said "fine then bring her back , what else do you want me to do, you cant have another puppy"
Of course we decided to keep the puppy because she already had a special place in our family, this is just a warning to any potential just your pup buyers BEWARE!!! If this is Justin's business shouldnt he be more educated on the difference between a male and female puppy!?
Also since we already had mailed out the AKC paperwork, our puppy was registered as a male :( and there is no way that we can change it :( luckily we are not wanting to try to mate her because it would be very hard to explain why our female dog has male registration papers.
