SEO Reputation Management at its best!

Trust the answers justanswer.com's experts provide at your own risk. Under justanswer.com TOS, terms of service, note that it explains that it is a site for entertainment purposes only. As such, justanswer.com does not validate an expert's claimed credentials unless another expert challenges those credentials. None of the experts are validated before they begin providing advice. In addition, anyone can become an expert in any category. This is because justanswer.com determines whether to allow a prospective expert to answer questions in a given category by giving the "expert" a short online test for which all the answers can be easily searched for on Google while taking the test.

Justanswer.com is a "contract cheating" site like many of the ones listed below where students post their homework or tests for answers. The students want "experts" to do their homework for them. Students request that papers be completed from research to writing in APA style. They want answers to specific tests sent by online high schools, online colleges, and correspondence courses. Penn Foster High School, the University of Phoenix, and all sections of the armed forces have high demand for contract cheating services on many contract cheating sites. In addition, since the demand for contract cheating is so high, some websites now specialize in giving answers to specific test. Sometimes they charge for the answers to specific tests and other times they post them at no cost to customers. Below is a list of web pages that have been linked with "contract cheating".

Verification does happen

AUTHOR: WCLawyer - (United States of America)

I applied to be an expert on Just Answer about two years ago and before I was allowed on, I had to provide proof of my identity as well as my professional registration with my Provincial Law Society.

It is true that I had to write an online test in addition to that, but Just Answer also contacted my Provincial Law Society to verify that I am a real lawyer.

To date, I have had about 900 customers who expressed their thanks for helping me provide them with advice to solve their problems.  This can be viewed on my profile.  I have had over 4 000 people who accepted my advice.  None of them came back to complain and a lot of them have even paid me a bonus.

In the interest of transparency, I also have about 3 negative feedback, but people tend to berate your advice if you have to tell them that they are in the wrong or that they have no case.

Maybe you should approach JA yourself and spend a day or so in their offices to establish firsthand whether verification takes place before you make calls like this.

Homework and Cheating is Not Permitted at www.unix.com

AUTHOR: Neo - (U.S.A.)

The UNIX and Linux Forums has a very strict set of rules that all posters must abide by. Homework is strictly prohibited and moderated. Here is a link to the set of rules that all user must adhere to:

http://www.unix.com/misc.php?do=cfrules

Here are the current rules (from above):

-----------------------------------------
RULES OF THE UNIX AND LINUX FORUMS

(1) No flames, shouting (all caps), sarcasm, bullying, profanity or arrogant posts.

(2) No negative comments about others or impolite remarks. Be patient.

(3) Refrain from idle chatter that does not contribute to the knowledge base. This does not apply to the forums in The Unix Lounge which are for off-topic discussions.

(4) Do not 'bump up' questions if they are not answered promptly. No duplicate or cross-posting and do not report a post or send a private message where your goal is to get an answer more quickly.

(5) Search the forums database with your keywords before asking.

(6) Do not post classroom or homework problems.

(7) No job postings from headhunters or recruiters except in The Unix Forums Job Board. See How to Post to The UNIX Forums Job Board for information on using the Job Board.

(8) No BSD vs. Linux vs. Windows or similar threads.

(9) Edit your posts if you see spelling or grammar errors (don't write in cyberchat or cyberpunk style). English only.

(10) Don't post your email address and ask for an email reply. Don't send a private message with a technical question. The forums are for the benefit of all, so all Q&A should take place in the forums.

(11) Post questions with descriptive subjects. For example, do not post questions with subjects like "Help Me!", "Urgent!!" or "Doubt". Post subjects like "Execution Problems with Cron" or "Help with Backup Shell Script".

(12) These are not hacker boards so hacker related posts will be promptly deleted or moderated.

(13) The forum administrators reserve the right to prune, move or edit posts that do not adhere to the rules or are technically inaccurate.

(14) The forum administrators reserve the right to remove users or change their posting status to read only without notice if any rules are not followed.

(15) No smoking in the forums.
----------------------------------------

I hope this post clears up the record about this web site.
