Justanswer.com experts get ripped off at justanswer.com Internet

I was a former "expert" (end of 2008 is when I left) on justanswer.com (JA). I am filing this so anyone considering becoming an expert will avoid the same trap I fell into. It is NOT just the customes who are getting scammed, but the experts as well!!

First, it is easy to become an "expert" because NO ONE will EVER ask for you to prove your name, your qualifications and / or degrees. You may make up a name, send in a photo that really isn't yours and make up your degeres.

JA will send you an e-mail telling you that only "ten percent of people who apply get accepted." The goal ... to make you feel like you are special.

Then, as an expert, you begin writing. Now ... let me tell you how it works. JA keeps SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT (75%) of ALL monies that comes in ... YOU keep just 25% (yes, twenty-five).

Next, the AVERAGE amount paid to JA for writing a paper (which .. by the way, will take you around an hour to write ... if not more .. because the client wants a FULL apa paper WITH references!!) .... is around $15 - goes even as low as $9. You're lucky if you hit $20.

Don't get excited on me ... remember, JA keeps 75% ... so on an AVERAGE $15 paper ... you will work on it for up to two hours of your time (research, outline, talking with the client, writing it up .. racking you brain).... when it is done... here is the break down....assuming you spent two hours TOTAL time ...

$15 ... JA gets paid to WATCH YOU write the paper.

$5... YOU get paid to write the paper. Divide it up over say 2 hours ... you got a whopping $2.50 an hour to write the paper. WHOPEEEE.

Now, let's say you are lucky enough to get bumped up to 35% ... Wow ... be careful how you spend that money .... that extra 10 pecent increase won't buy you much ... not even a big mac at McDonalds. You are STILL Waaayyyy below MINIMUM WAGE and the guy at Burger King.

So ... you make on average $2.25 to $3.50 a paper ... but that will take you around an hour to two hours to write.

And guess what the kicker is ... if the client chooses to RIP YOU OFF and not pay for your work... the client still gets the VIEW the paper and you get ... guess it now... ZIP!! You just worked, at $3.50 an hour for FREE!! Whopeeeeee.

Also, someone will monitor EVERYTHING you do and how you do it. For example, write something they don't like, you get lovely reminder e-mails ... cuz they know you is a $2.25 / hr. employee / contractor. And if you are just a few steps from that earning of 50% for writing a paper .... they will probably find a reason to KICK YOU OFF.

But even still... do the math people. Average paper is $20 ... it takes you two hours to write a 2 -4 page paper (YOU do the research, YOU look up the APA guidelines .. YOU do the editing / revisions / outlines / drafts ...) ....and even at 50% earnings .... the average pay is $10 a paper. Guess what ...
You are not at ...(drum roll please) ...
Five dollars an hour!!!LOL.

You are NOT allowed to negotiate how much a client will pay ... MOST of the work ... if not ALL of it ... you will be UNDERPAID .... remember, the CLIENT sets the price - not you! And if the client chooses to NOT pay you .. no mater how CORRECT the answer is or how GOOD the paper is .... you get zip! And you worked for free.

This site is easy to fool. I got in under a fake name and with fake degrees (I just looked someone up and used their degree info. .. no one even asked if that was my picture - LOL). My roommate did the same thing ....

If you want entertainment and like writing (for free) ... submit FAKE qualifications .... no one will ask you. This "prove it or lose it thing" ... PLEEZZZ.

DON"T think you are talking to an expert - you aren't.

Customers ... if you make a deposit .... they will make it difficult to get it back. And if they write back and say... "no, we want to make everyone happy...." then I have a bridge to sell you in China.

Well, I think i'll hop on line and get someone to work for me for a few hours and then reject their stuff.

Experts and customers ... avoid this site - TELL YOUR FRIENDS! I already sent out a mass e-mail to my netzero buddies. I'll also post it on my college campus.
