In 2010, he was held liable for more than $4M on the grounds of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and conversion for his involvement in the theft of millions of dollars from an unsuspecting private lender.
Justin Mehren is still in business, however. He now tells his friends that he will have to spend the rest of his life hiding his assets so the victim cannot recover any of its money.
If, for some reason, you are doing business with this man who has a $4M fraud judgment against him, and he asks you to pay somebody else or some other entity whatever fees are due him, know that you are assisting a person guilty of fraud from repaying his victim.
