It's been about a year now that my husband and I were "suckered" into believing that Kids.com would help our infant son find some modeling work. We actually fell for it since he was aour first born and like any new mother was actually proud on how smart and alert my baby was!!

Just this week I started to feel a bit duped since it's been about a year and my son has only been called for 3 "go-sees" and nothing else. And of course we get those biannual letters stating that we need new head shots to update his account. as I was going into their website just now I realized they didn't have a direct contact using email addresses and was surprised that they didnt have contact numbers to speak to certain individuals.

Then as I was searching the internet I came across this website and was absolutely floored with what i have read!! It's not so much the $595.00 (of course it would be great to get it back) but the hurt that one feels to see that in such a vulnerable time people like these can scam others and still be able to sleep at night!!! Does anyone out there know if there has been a class action suit started for New York? or what I can do to start one up for this branch in Long Island!!?

Thank you for any response!!! And Im so sorry I fell for this but I'm going to fight now to not get scammed into this again!! And to just be confidant that we will love our children no matter what~~~.

I hope this helps to bring these scammers to justice...

I highly suggest that anyone who has experienced the same, to contact the BBB. The cheating company will have 30 days to respond (they will take the full time) and the BBB will send you the letter that this company sent them trying to justify themselves.

Once you get their poor response letter, you have only 10 days to send the BBB another letter stating that you are not satisfied with their response and that this company has deceived you and you want your money returned because of their deception and false promises (send it certified, or signature required like a return receipt). You will need to go through this 3 times before the BBB will send you a letter to contact the NJ division of Consumer affairs and leave this complaint unresolved (you do not have to wait for the BBB to suggest for you to contact the NJ Dept. of Consumer Affairs, & NJ Attorney General, so do it ASAP).

The BBB needs atleast 3 active unresolved complaints (the complaints have to go through this entire process). This will then force the BBB to change their rating. STAY on top of the BBB to do so!!!

In addition to that, contact the media, like NY Times, Star Ledger, NY Post, Fox 5 news, ABC news, etc.. as they have programs like Shame on You. Bad publicity is no good for their type of business and especially on the BBB website when they have an abundance of complaints.

In addition to that, try to get pictures of them displayed throughout the media and any other ways to make it more challenging for them to try this again with another type of business.

There is no guarantee they will give you back your hard earned money, that they had to lie to steal from you, but this will hopefully disrupt their scam and the authorities will get involved.

Don't forget to also submit a form to the FTC

I know for a fact by contacting the IFCC and filling out the form, they will eventually send the report to Detectives in the towns that these conartists do business. Legal action, to receive your money back, and bring them to justice is at YOUR fingertips! Follow this link

GO GET THEM and get back what is rightfully yours!
