KB HOMES applied defective stucco to the second floor of our entire nieghborhood. after a couple of years after the homes were built the stucco busted open, KB came in about 9 months ago and had to replace the stucco and repaint all the 2 story homes in our subdivision. just recently the new work and repair started to open up and created leaks to the interior of my home thus damaging my drywall, baseboards, carpet and creating mold.

I contacted KB Homes they sent someone to come out and the next thing I knew they did an expansive repair job on the exterior of my home, now my beautiful home looks like a Jigsaw puzzle with every exterior wall is affected, Joe Meyer the customer service representative, who cant actually give good customer service to save his life, agreed to match up my paint and have a painter paint the repair. The painter was sent out, and the color matched paint was applied in two test areas, and it did not match well and stood out. 

The painter said that KB is going to have to re-paint the whole house plain and simple, and that he would contact Joe at KB and tell him that. I spoke to Joe Meyer later, and he said there was nothing else they could do. I was like what? You guys came out marred up my house fixing your twice defective repair and now I am stuck with having to have the whole house painted for over 4k because of your poor workmanship.  There is a 10 year warranty on the house and the house is about 5 years old. 

This is the kind of customer service I recieved and I am not alone, there a several KB home owners like me taking to the web and voicing their problems that are similar with KB homes as well, and as a stressed out home owner, I would discourage any prospective buyers from ever buying a KB home, they dont care about you or the defective home they throw together for you, they are just focused in the short term on good looks, and getting your top dollar money after that they can care less if the house crumbles around your feet the next day! RUN AWAY FROM KB HOMES!!!

MY HOUSE WAS PAINTED BY KB

I AM HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT MY HOUSE WAS FINALLY PAINTED BY KB HOMES.  THE PAINTERS DID GREAT WORK, AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.  TO GET TO THIS POINT IT TOOK ALOT OF COMPLAINING AND FRUSTRATION.  IT DID NOT COME EASY THOUGH AS A SENIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR FOR KB IN ORLANDO WHO APPARENTLY IN MY OPINION HAS ANGER ISSUES CALLED ME YELLING/SCREAMING AND CALLING ME NAMES ETC. BEFORE HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO FIX MY HOUSE BY PAINTING IT, BECAUSE HE WAS A BETTER MAN THAN I WAS, AND IN A ROUND ABOUT WAY SAID WITH OTHER NARRATIVES THAT EVEN THOUGH I WOULD BE HAPPY THAT I WAS GETTING MY HOUSE PAINTED THAT HE WAS PISSED OFF CAUSE HE WAS NOT HAPPY TO HAVE TO SPEND THE MONEY TO FIX MY HOUSE OUT OF THE BUDGET, HE ALSO SAID MANY OTHER THINGS THAT I WILL KEEP TO MYSELF AT THIS TIME AND TAKE IT UP WITH KB DIRECTLY AS THEY ARE QUITE DISTURBING TO ME. THIS IS JUST SAD, THAT THEY HAD TO TREAT ME THIS WAY.  I AM GRATEFUL MY HOUSE WAS FIXED, I REALLY AM BUT KB COULD HAVE DID BETTER ON THEIR HANDLING OF MY CONCERNS AND ISSUE. THERE IS A LESSON TO BE LEARNED HERE ON BEHALF OF THEIR COMPANIES CUSTOMER SERVICE DIVISION, LETS HOPE THEY LEARN IT.

KB addressing my complaint.

I was contacted today from the painter at KB homes that told me I was approved and that KB will repaint my house next week.  This is good news. If this is true and it actually gets done then KB will have delivered on their commitment with me, and I will be satisfied.
