I bought a $60. game from KMart in Tinely Park, Illinois for my son's birthday. My son opened the game, and it appeared to be sealed properly. The game case contained a CD RE-Write. Two male names were written on it in black pen. I brought the game back to KMart w the receipt that same day! The KMart manager called me a thief, and said that they believe I did receive the game. The manager thinks I want a second copy to sell on ebay. Now I have two receipts for the same game. I wasn't going to tell my 8 year old, "I'm sorry, KMart ripped you off." I had to buy him another game for $60.!!!! All I wanted from KMart was the game I purchased. I'm sickened by this company.

Ok, let's really think about this.

I agree that thieves will open boxes, steal the actual CD, and reclose the box. But what kind of thief would steal the original and replace it with a homemade rewritten copy of the same game? Why wouldn't they just leave the box empty or just put a blank CD in there?

Sounds fishy.
