HURRICANE EXPRESS ripoff con artist fake nightmare company from hell SPRINGDALE Arkansas

Hello drivers, I worked for Hurricane Express for exactly 4wks and I just got my 2nd and last check. It was for $58. and some change. My first deposit, which was FedEx-ed without my approval, was for $685. So for the 1 month I worked for them, I brought home a grand total of about $750. Since I was a lease purchase operator, I signed my lease agreement during orientation, they told me I should average the pay per mile @ $1.15 as we are supposed to get paid according to what the national fuel average is for that week. I ran my a** off for them and this is how they do me?!!! On my first settlement, they double dipped into my fuel expense, and my fiance @ the time, caught it cause my 2nd check was supposed to be for $3 and since it was so low, they decided to put all of my past 3 weeks worth of loads all on my final check. My fiance caught them double dipping into my fuel and said something about ripoffreport.com site (which Jason knows all about) and they fired me. It states in the papers that all of the Hurricane/Naedok trucks get DOT inspected @ the chicken houses A LOT! Well, gee, I wonder why? They want you to go from Nogales, AZ to the Bronx in about 2 days as a solo driver. (My fiance @ the time doesn't have her CDL). Dana states that they had to pay for their drug screen; I don't understand that. I didn't. Dana also wants drivers to email them, but doesn't leave an email address. I ran a lot of miles and only got paid chicken feed for doing it. I would like to know how to fight this company and get all our pay, the way we're supposed to, back. If anyone knows anything, or if we can all get together and file a class action lawsuit, we might be able to fight this company and put them out of business. P.S. I contacted the Arkansas Labor Department and they can't help if the company owes you more than $2k. So I was told to contact the US Department of Labor because I live in Alabama and went to work in Arkansas. If you live in Arkansas and Hurricane owes you more than the $2k, I'm not sure where to go for that.

OK after wading through your report I have to tell you that when you do a rebuttal with Hireright which what DAC is going by this year you really need to do several things:

 #1 SPELL CHECK! PLEASE!!!!!
#2 Write comprehensive sentences!
3# Try to make it sound creditable!
#4 Proof read your writing!

I'm sorry but both of the posters need to try to learn how to write so even the least educated of us can figure out WTH they are saying! I normally do not recommend a driver use Dac Fix as they do the same thing you will do BUT I highly advise you to spend the $150.00 so that your rebuttal will go through as that is where DACFIX does a better job! DAC/Hireright, if they get a rebuttal written like the first or OP they throw the thing in the trash! Now if you can get someone who can write and spell or knows how to spell check and PROOF READ their work get them to write your rebuttal for you. At least you'll save the $150.00 and might even get your DAC report cleaned up!

Yes I sound like I'm coming down on you and I am as you make those reading your words wonder if the rest of us drivers sound like you! Now a hint. To do a spell check look to see if there is a button to press on the page that says spell check. If not then put your curser on the first letter of your report and drag it all the way to the last letter on the page and release it and then right click in the field where you wrote and then click on "spell check" and fix the errors! That easy and it will look a lot better! Then reread the thing and fix the grammar so it looks like an adult wrote it and not a kinder garder!

i understand what you are saying,but why did it take you 2 years to find out they screwed up your dac? i found out in days,by applying to other companies and getting feedback from them on what hurricane express aka naedok llc. was saying which told me i needed to pull my dac asap. i did and it was nasty. i wont go into details i will just put it this way they blackballed me from the industry.but now this is where it gets tricky i have been investigating them and the facts ive found are horrable. this is where if kaedon or any hurricane employee is reading this will know exactly who i am,and i want them too because when im thru they will NEVER forget my name x305. i have found numerous of times they have been fined and in court over not paying unemployment tax and workers comp. yes thats right because guys/gals it was found in 1998 and several times since that we are not independant contractors we are employees paying for the right to work to kaedon steinert. it was foun in court numerous of times and we are deemed employees the last date he was in court was FEB 18,2010. and each time hes been fined $10,000,but that is too low because the insurance is more. ime still trying to find any irs tax cases on him his company etc. and ime praying ime gonna be the 1st cause i really wanna see him pour out the money when hes audited cause kaedon if youre reading its coming. do you know anything about a ss-8 form if not youre about to. he will be forced to pay into every employees taxes from the 1st day he opened his doors. yes people we were employees. there is a fine line between employee and independant contractor . the fine line is stipulated by the federal employment laws and state employment laws. yes people you do have laws that protect what your employer can classify you as, employee v. independant contractor and in every court and appeal kaedon has lost his short hands down because he violates the guidelines by not allowing to haul loads for others otherwise in breach of rental contract and with the baloon payment we are not invested in the truck, and when he tells us what route to take and where to fuel hes controlling how we conduct work and the list goes on and on but i dont want kaedon to know just how badly his greed and  lack of respect for the laws (and lack of realizing truckdrivers arent idiots)i dont want him to know it all before the IRS can put the noose on and pull the chair out from under him. but guys/gals know this much because i got nothing better to do cause they blackballed me i got no job no nothing, therefore i have all the time to make sure till my very last breath that they are forced to either close there doors or become so legal that they dont even dare spit on the sidewalk. BECAUSE I TAKE CRIMINAL TAX EVASION OF THEIR KIND VERY SERIOUS. and that is why they try to convince everyone we are independant contractors when we truly are employees and any who disagree are his aiders and abedders for helping him line his pockets and screw us and the government ,and they dont even use vaseline!!!!

I can completly understand what you are going threw. We went threw the same thing. We got to the yard and it was a joke. It was nasty, they only had a few old junk trucks. They think truck drivers are stupid. Eddie said quote if you give a truck driver a Peterbilt he will do anything. Well not to many are working for them past there 1st pay check. The tires on the trailers are all recaps falling apart unsafe and if u have a flat they curse u out.

These are some of the lowest class trashest people I have ever met in my life. They get off on treating drivers bad.When u ask about your money u can never get a hold of anyone there or they keep giving u the run around.

We also have talked to several drivers that went threw the same exact thing. I just wish I would have found out the truth sooner.These people need to b put out of bussines as soon as possible before they hurt anymore drivers.PLEASE SOMEONE PUT THEM OUT OF BUSSINES.... THEY ARE THE BIGGEST RIPOFFS I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE.

Anyone considering them please believe everthing you have read because its all true. They wont pay you for over a month after you run like a dog for them and they charge you all kinds of bogus fees.

For instance 70.00 just to get your 25.00 a day advance. They expect u to live off 25.00 a day what a joke. And dont ask for more you will get cussed out.The list goes on and on... This Company is a real Nightmare!!!!

Hurricane is a very big joke.....Sheldon, Stephin,and Kaedon are Idiots...Number 1. They dont have a real yard they have a dirt lot with junk cars and mobile homes in it.. Just call it Hurricane Park.... Theres not enough room in there for there trucks half there trucks dont run properly. They have shade tree mechanics.

number 2 any time theres a problem with your truck they give you the run around to fix it. we had a 120 inch sleeper and the clutch was making a very ugly noise they tell us to bare with it til they get us a load to springdale.i couldnt take it anymore they sent us to Peterbuilt finally and guess what??? our transmission was being held on by 1 bolt if we would of went another day we would be dead somewhere or sitting on the side of the road.. Hurricane cares nothing about there drivers...

number 3 we had a 120 inch sleeper by law you are only allowed to use a 48 spread trailer for that lenghth of truck they had us pulling a 53.. How dumb can they be... it was the dead of summer the air in our truck goes out they send us on a load to phoenix arizona come on now everyone knows the weather is 110 and up there.. they tell us to go to peterbilt to get it fixed when we get there and they check it out Hurricane refuses to get it fix after hearing the price they refuse to pay the price for diagnosis we sat almost 2 hrs for them to pay and we still had no air....

number4 you have to call them so they can give a tcheck code just so you can get your gas paid for. we sat d**n near 4 hrs because we gave them a flying j that was down the street instead of where we were Ed made us sit there d**n near 4 hrs just because he was having a bad day for him to pay for the fuel.. Wow what a good company huh... Sheldon and Stephin are Kaedons gueina pigs.. They get over on everyone and expect them to take it but not me i put them in there place and they were pretty friendly after that.... Trust me there ad sounds wonderful but its all a lie.. They want you to do the impossible they want you to lie on your log books they want you to drive all day to get there loads where they need to be and they pay you nothing. what company would make you run your a*s off and you get a check 2 or 3 weeks after you run the miles..They dont give you a real check stub they print it on the computer i could do that myself.. If your smart stay away from them they are crooks and you will never see your money....
