Kaplan On-Line University Forced to withdraw and take classes over due to Kaplans ADMITTED clerical mistake. Dropped from University and lost financial aid, again due to Kaplans ADMITTED clerical mistake. No one calls Internet

When I enrolled in Kaplan University back in April 2011, I was faxed a form to fill out and return to my advisor in order for the college to request transcripts from my former college. I was instructed to fax the form back and she would "take care of everything". I started my on-line classes after being informed that "everything was in place". Approximately 1/2 way through the semester I attempted to log in only to find that I was blocked from my classes.

After multiple phone calls and emails, it was finally admitted to me that the advisor had never submitted the transcript form and my transcripts were never received. Although they admitted their mistake finally, after weeks of constant communication, they refused to unblock my account and I was forced to withdraw from the class, despite my 98 average, and wait until the following semester and start all over again.

Despite this mistake, I continued on, maintaining a GPA of 3.8 in my Nursing courses. At the beginning of June I attempted to log in to classes only to find that I was once again blocked. My FAFSA paperwork for 2011/2012 was never received, I was told. I quickly researched and corrected the problem and I received confirmation from both FAFSA and Kaplan that the information was received on 6/10/2012. Kaplan failed to unblock my account through a clerical error, and my student account remains blocked to this very day. 

Because I was unable to access my account and participate in classes, I was notified that I was dismissed from the University for >21 days non-attendance on 6/26/12. Because of this I have also lost my financial aid. I have made multiple phone calls and emails to multiple people, including the Dean of Admissions. All have promised to investigate the problem, yet I have heard back from none of them!
