When i attended Kaplan I also was told that financial aid was paid in full just to be on the safe side i even took at an extra five thousand dollars..i spoke with my student advisor and financial aid officer etc..everything seemed to be going as planned...until i needed to contact them..I have never seen anything like it. For the life of me i cant understand how this school is getting away with this. I could not get in contact with anyone that new anything. My financial aid advisor, i never spoke to again. Anyway, after such a hassle i asked for the supervisor..i was on hold for 40 minutes then the phone clicked on me. They are actually abusing the fact that they are online and we cant see or complain to anyone. Well going into my fourth semester i get blocked out of classes..why? because kaplan claimed they over paid me in the first semester by 875 dollars..not only that but i had one day to pay the balance in full. What a scam...how can you over pay me when i took out more then what was needed..why wait three semesters then drop the bomb on me that i cant finish my education. After i put thousands into the school..There is no Manager director student body anybody to help. The financial aid department is running such a scam. So now i am blocked out of classes with know one to complain too that someone is doing my account wrong..I was on the presidents list for the third time straight, was just invited to join a psychology team..Its just horrible to do people like this..and with all these complaints all similar we wonder how they are still operating..Its amazing..i feel if financial aid approves the school and they are accredited they should be trust worthy..This is the biggest scam in history, if no one is paying attention to the online schools, they can do whatever they want..I contacted the president the governor of davenport iowa and a whole leap of newspapers and magazines. They will not get the chance to destroy anymore lives ...we all deserve our money back and the right to an education. It is not fair to us and it is not fair to our families..
