Katherine Gibbs College - Washington Buisness School Ripoff scam lie fraud falsifying documents miss use of govnmt funding destroying my credit no help in fixing the problem Fairfax Virginia

in the begining of 2002 i signed to go to this school. after only a week or two of "classes" i decided it wasnt worth my time. i had to stand in the halls for class. their were no supplies to work from . and no teacher to teach the classes. i chose to be discharged from the school and signed all the apropriate paper work. i was told being that i was being discharged from the school befor the "cut off" period i would not be charged for any tuiton.

several months later i started receiving calls from collectors about the school loans. im thinking to myself at this time "what loans". so i called the school to find out what was going on. its seems that the school had convienly misplaced my discharge paperwork and had me enrolled for a period of approx. 2 months.being that i was moving around alot at this time. i had no paper work to clearify this error. and the school was " not showing any record of my discharge". i ask for copyies of all the paper work only to find myself waiting to get nothing from them. the more i called the less anyone was willing to talk to me. as i tried over the past few years to explain to the collectors of this loan . this loan is fraudulant. their answer was and still is simply " its not our problem...you owe this money.. now pay".

they have taken my income tax for this loan for the past 4 years . the collectors are reluctant to send me any paper work involved in this loan...as is the school. i have disputed the collection on my credit report however the damage is done. my credit is destroyed. now at the age of 27 i am looking to increase my score and buy a home and it has become impossible

i have been doing research and came to find that in 2003-2004 their was a lawsuit against the gibbs school and its parent companies for reason such as; falsifying documents to show longer enrollment , forged paper work, umong other things. however this lawsuit is only for the investors of the company and not any of the student involed with this matter. i have endured countless phone calls form collectors and have many times found my jobs to be in jepordy. with no person or persons willing to help clear up this matter i find myself stuck in debt...witch i feel is not mine...and stuggling to live day to day. i know whithout a doubt that my paper work has been altered to increase their income from government funding and that my dicharge paperwork has be conviently placed into the trashcan or shredder.
