From the start of working with Kevin Mihm of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Pittsburgh PA I knew there was something wrong. This gentleman’s incompetence to doing a "legal" job is unbelievable. He just gave off a "used car salesman" personality. First Kevin talked bad about another agent in his own office that I had considered to list my house. Then goes on to make a off colored comment about woman in real estate, how they screw up more then they are able to get right. Not realizing I have 2 daughters and found this very offensive. Then spent 30 minutes telling me how great he is and how lucky I am to have called him.

But after reading everything on line about Kevin Mihm I gave him the listing. What a HUGE mistake! He first puts the price up for less than the appraisal that I paid for saying "most appraisers in Gibsonia are worthless, they call me, I set the standard here". After a lot of showings he finally presents me with 3 offers all coming through at list. After Kevin brushes off the first 2, he spends 40 minutes convincing me to go with the third offer, which just happens to be his buyer. Kevin Mihm states the others are not "qualified buyer". I ask if we can ask for a counter offer? His response you will lose all offers with a bidding war. Stating seller should be happy if they get their asking price.

To only find out 2 days later through a phone call from the first offer that they are willing to $50,000 more if need be!!! Double checking this with their agent and they said they told Kevin 3 times they would pay more. Kevin Mihm wouldn't allow them to because he gets a double commission if his buyer gets the deal! What a greedy no good worthless agent! I was selling the house do to my financial situation and could of used the extra money. I have no idea how an individual like that can even sleep at night. When I questioned Kevin Mihm about the matter his response was "live with it" then hung up!Run from Kevin Mihm of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Pittsburgh, he is of low integrity and no morals!

I regret not being able to match your comments to any transaction I was involved in and do not recall ever having a multiple offer situation where a buyer offered $50,000 more than asking price, or, in the same transaction, placing a home under appraisal price.  I pride myself on being professional, courteous and respectful to all Agents, Buyers and Sellers. 

I present and review all offers thoroughly to my Sellers as there might be both price and non-price terms (i.e. down payment, financing, closing date desired, home inspection, etc.).  I have dedicated the last 34+ years to serving my Sellers in their best interests and have and continue to put their home sale as Priority #1.
