My girlfriend just purchased a 2007 Hyundai from Key Hyundai. Overall I am very disappointed with their dealership. She works part-time and has limited income but they promised to get her a loan. They took her car and gave her dealer plates for the new one until they could put a loan together for her. She went back several times and spent several hours there waiting for them, each time they told her that the paperwork was ready for her to sign when in fact they didn't even start on it until some time after she had arrived and was made to wait for hours. On her third trip to the dealership they told her that she would need a co-maker on her loan since her income was not sufficient and she asked me to co-sign, to which I agreed. They had me fax all of my information in and told her that the loan was approved. She made an appointment for us to go back the following week to finish the deal.

When we arrived for our appointment we were made to wait for over an hour, When we finally went in to sign I noticed that her name wasn't anywhere on the paperwork. When I asked about this I was told that she had already signed all of her forms and that my name was first on the loan. I looked over everything again and her name was not on any of the forms. They just kept telling us that my name was first. They were right, my name is first - and last. I own the car!

Be advised that these guys are very deceptive and will do anything to make the sale. I read what I was signing so I knew what they were doing - at least until we got two and a half hours into the ordeal... At the last minute they came out with another set of paperwork for me to sigh, saying that they had made a mistake on the first copy.  I was tired so just signed - what I hadn't noticed was that they had added an additional $600 to the price of the car.  I guess that the whole waiting game is just another well planned and orchestrated way wear you down and seperate you from a little more of your money.

Also, their customer service is terrible - they make you wait for everything. Our final appointment, one which we were told that everything had been prepared for us to sign and would take only ten minutes, ended up taking over three hours. The whole time they shuffle you from one area to another and give you fake smiles and tell you one line of BS after another.

As far as the car goes - she likes it but is disappointed that it is not hers and that they cheated her so badly.

Hyundais are good cars but try to avoid these guys if you can. If not, have plenty of time and be VERY CAREFUL of what you are signing!

I have written a rebuttal to this three times and I have not gotten a response to it nor have I heard back from ripoffreport.com as to why you won't post it. 

I am sorry that the customer is upset.  We have reached out to him numerous times and we haven't heard back from him.  We have tried to resolve it with the customer directly but offering numerous solutions.  We always are told that they will get back to us and never do.  If they would like to discuss, they have our General Sales Manager's personal cell phone and are welcome to call him at any time.
