Recently a dog at this kennel turned violently on it's kennel mates killing and injuring other dogs. The dog was put down but not before it had killed and injured other dogs in his kennel/run. This probably happened because the dogs in this kennel have little human contact and never leave their runs / cages/ kennels and one probably just snapped. They are fed and kept reasonably clean but the numbers of puppies ...about 80 ready to go right now with more pregnant dogs ready to deliver any day means that the owners , even if they want to, cannot possibly give the attention needed to keep all these dogs sane and healthy.

This kennel and others like it need to be limited by law as to the number of puppies they can breed at one time.

 it is time we put new laws into place to protect dogs from being overbred.

What will happen to these 80-100 pups if they do not sell?  Take a look at the website where many are listed for sale. Way too many , puppy mill? On the edge of being one for sure. Having the facility to breed many pups does not mean we should, having the actual cabins to house puppies does not mean we should fill them all at once, having the ownership of dogs does not mean we should overbreed them for our livelihood and keep them until they can no longer provide puppies for us...then? who knows what happens to them.

 As humans we are able to reason and we should be leading the way in the animal world and taking care of all of our beautiful dogs, not using them for a huge profit.

Breeding dogs can be a wonderful thing but it seems that when lot of money can be made by overbreeding some of us cannot resist the temptation and eventually there is a situation that is out of control  with far too many puppies to sell.

If we place laws governing the number of puppies a kennel can have at one time we might be able to sleep at night knowing we are protecting these wonderful caring animals.
