We have experienced problems with our water heater due to the high levels of sulfur
gas building up with in the shed, housing the RO system that was installed by
Kinetico. Our plumber informed us that this gas is damaging and shortening the
life and performance of every metal component (water heater, RO system, Copper
pipes, Electrical Breaker box, etc.) within the shed. 17 months ago at the time
of installation, your employees and representatives did on inform me of any
concerns with the installation of the RO system within the shed. In a
conversation with Christine (office manager in Vinice, FL) this December I asked
her about the placement of the RO system within the shed. She informed me that
there have been meetings concerning this issue. I have not been informed of any
problem until I addressed it. I feel that Kinetico is responsible to correct
this problem and responsible for any damage to the metal components within the
shed. The last time of service was 9/20/12 marked on the system which is well beyond the 56-days of treatment. I feel that Kinetico should credit me two months the; for breaking service
contract.I feel that Kinetico is using a bait and switch tactic on the
contract for the System Maintenance of $65.00 a month, which will remain
unchanged for 5, 10, 20 years. provided that the contract does not go into
delinquency. Now they have increased the contract to $117.00 for the same
I am very upset to hear that my system has not be getting serviced and checked
because of a locked gate. This is the first I have heard of any problem. Your
company had no problem taking my year payment in advance and sending bills when
balances are due. The only time that shows the system was checked was in
September. This is the service sticker that was placed on the system by your
company. At the end of the week I will be having another company come and
evaluate the system and begin servicing it. I will be holding Kinetico
responsible for my extra cost than what Kinetico has agree to in a contract. I
have already filed complains with the Attorney General and BBB of West Florida.
I am also filing complaints with Federal Trades Commission and Kinetico Corp.
