1/27/09 my son placed an order for an airsoft gun with KING OF SWORDS.com. At no time during this order did it state the item was back-ordered. On 1/29 $46.99 was deduted from my account. We received an email saying order status was Accepted please allow 14-21 business days for shipping and specifically states to not include weekends. On 2/21/09 I sent an email to the contact address reading:

I am inquiring about the order status of order #00000 placed on January 27, 2009. When I check my order history it only says order accepted. If it has not been shipped yet I would like to cancel the order altogether. Please send response asap to (my email)

On that same day I responded:
I believe my original correspondence requested if the item has not been shipped I would like to cancel the order. I was NOT notified upon placing the order that it was not in stock. I simply would like a refund (credit to the card I used) of the entire price of $46.99.

I will expect a quick and speedy refund. Thank you in advance for your complete cooperation!

They responded again:

Your order has been canceled per your request. A refund will be issued to you as soon as possible.

3/9/09 from me:
I am writing regarding Order #0000 This order was canceled and I received a confirmation e-mail...but....the $46.99 has NOT been refunded to my account. This is not acceptable. It did not take 2-3 weeks for you to take my money, therefore, it should not take that long to return it! I left a verbal message with your answering system as well.

I will be anticipating some response to this matter in a timely fashion!

I finally write on 3/20/09
I am thoroughly disappointed in the manner this refund is being handled. It was so easy for you to withdraw the money from my account and so difficult to return it. On Monday 2/23 at 1:19 pm I received an email from king of swords affirming the cancellation of my order and that the refund would be issued asap. Again, on 3/9 two weeks later I contacted king of swords (both by voice message and email) to let them know that the monies have not been refunded. They again responded that they were forwarding my email to the accounting department and the refund would be processed quickly..on 3/13 another 4 days I resent email...the response was to wait 48 hours and if I don't receive the refund I should contact my bank or creditor and have charges reversed...WHY should I have to go to this extent when YOU had no problem TAKING the money within 24 hours of the order being placed? I demand my MONEY $46.99 immediately..I have left another voice message on 3/18..I can't believe you run a company that you can not verbally communicate with anyone! I will expect your immediate attention to this matter!!!!!

I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Georgia..they said the business has until April 9th to respond..NOTHING! I called my bank to file a dispute of the charge and they told me I only had 60 days!! This company knows that and that is why they tell you 21 days for shipping minus the weekends..that buys them almost 30 days then they screw you around telling you that you will be refunded for another 2 weeks or so and suddenly those 60 days are gone and you have no recourse. This is stealing and I don't get how the Federal gov't has not shut them down. My son put in time to earn that money and we a*s U ME d that it was legitimate.

Please beware this is a fraudulent company!!!!!
