Well, what everyone is saying is true. I too received the letter stating that I have won $20,000 and received a check from USbank for $2,946.75 to place into my checking account and then send them the money back to pay for the taxes and fees for the $17,053.25 and the cruise to the Bahamas. I didn't think this could be true and looked up Kingsway on google and saw the complaints that were made.

I was so close to just keeping the check because I didn't know about the rest of the story of the scam. I thought "what could it hurt"? So then I went on line to "Lottery Scams" and read more about these letters and found out that if I cashed that check - then I was part of the scam as well and could get in a lot of trouble and be held responsible for the amount cashed or more.

So I want this information to get out to everyone because it is very important that everyone knows what kind of trouble you can get into even if you are the victim!
