   Sadly enough when base our actions on the options of others we can lose good self experiences,  I have been raised with kirbies all my life my family loves them when i got this job i read these things and i was smart enough to find out for myself, i always wanted more for my life and i knew kirbies were good so i thought the two together would be a win win for me,

    Alot of what the person said is true they get to you practice,IT HELPS YOU LEARN HOW TO DO IT, if you have a seemingly good character they can accept you, they tell you they assist you with appointments AND THEY DO and i worked really hard when i started and allot of my family didn't understand. I SEEN PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY DID PRACTICES AND GET PAID EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDNT!
 
    I also treated all my customers with respect and i enjoyed helping them and i enjoyed doing my job if they didnt buy,, it has been alot of fun everything they promised me i got and more,,

    I see people not work and call in every day and say they want off and then they quite maybe because they read things like this and they were doing good,, it is like anything else,, YOU WILL GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT:) NOTHING MORE,, nothing less,, I SAY THINK FOR YOURSELF,, IF YOU BELIEVE YOU can or believe you cant YOU ARE RIGHT:)
 
   This business changed my life and the life of my family because i was smart enough to find out for myself,, this business has no emotions it is people that make it good or bad,, not the company but individuals:) they have been around for over 99 years

  There is nothing fly by night about that it takes work dedication like everything else in life:)

It seems to me that specifics as to names of those involved would round it out more. References to the name of the franchisee, i.e., a real person, would be helpful. One can pick a company name or a 'd/b/a' and continue to do business even though they are the same as the one complained about. Simply naming a 'company', if it really was one vs a d/b/a doesn't distinguish it from others that might be operating. Such information would include who was the owner or operator, who did the training, were there multilevel people involved, was anyone brought in from anywhere else to train and stuff like that. I say this as I would assume there are other companies selling the product in a metro area that size and it is hard to sort out the problematic personell from those who aren't.

As only a person looking in on the situation as neither an employee or customer to kirby, I have read many of the rip off reports and the cover ups from the employs and x-employees of kirby.

I have also been asked to work for kirby but you see I have worked for many other companies who have just about the same selling techniques. I am not and never will be interested in a competitive, sneaky, inconsiderate company such as kirby.

Don't you worry all kirby employees and employers I am not going to bad talk your kirby vacuum cleaner. the item is not the problem. It is simply the people. It is always the people. But guess what I have a ? for the people of kirby.

If these rip off reports are false as you say then why do you need to counter fit their opinions or beliefs? What are you soo scared of? Believe me at the worlds end every human being on earth will be hugging there vacuum cleaners! lol lol

Superior Systems is not a rip off company. I currently work for them and your message is skewed mightily.

They are a sales organization that markets the Kirby home cleaning system. It's honorable and honest work.

There are demands to be successful in any enterprise that you invest your time in. Their business model allows you to make money immediately and not have to work a month to get paid. In fact it is incredibly easy to understand and to thrive once you get over the prospect of getting paid for doing nothing. What company does that?

Each office is an authorized dealer to market the product. If you didn't take a job there because someone had a derogatory statement to say about it, you missed the boat.

The owner there is the most honest person and sensitive to the human condition. All you need do is to bring a good work ethic and be coachable to learn the system. Your loss is their loss too. You missed a great opportunity.

it seems there is more to you're story, you are so angry and i think you just angry that you failed because you didn't put in the time and effort you should have and deep down inside you know you quit everything before you start. Always remember, "no blaming , no complaining, i'm responsable or me"

You must have been touched by the (ONLY) KIRBY angel! Although it was nice to know that 1 person (out several) hired did actually receive all that was promised to them because I experienced several hardworking individuals that were in need of a good paying job and chose this bogus company, instead of chosing a legitimate lower paying job opportunity just out of desperation because they were mislead into believing their 1st paycheck would be within 4-5 days in the (possible) amt of $2000. What a crock of poo! Not only did these single parents miss out on a stable, legit company but they also didn't receive that 1st big check until almost 1 mth later because they decided to not give out paychecks until the end of the month! How do you explain that to your hungry children that you can't afford any necessities just yet because the company your working for isn't worried about you and your hungry children or bothersome creditors. Why would you worry, afterall as management staff you don't have those kind of worries due to hardwork of those poor desperate employees under the false impression that someday they too could be taking care of by little people like you!!!

I too went to an interview with Gold Coast Distributors, no longer that name since the owner passed, in 1986. Like you I went through an orientation and "spiel" with my family and friends. Unlike you though, I followed through and actually made $400 my first weekend with the company. Understand that if the ad had read, "Selling vacuums, door to door" I would probably never have answered the ad. What did happen was I was offered an opportunity to see what I could do. I chose to take the challenge. I worked for them for over 10 years and the gentleman who hired me back in 1986, is now a Regional Supervisor and still my best friend. I had my up and downs with the company, but who hasn't where they have worked? Though I left the company back in 1997, a lot of the discipline and work ethic I was taught carried over to what I have done the last 10 years and it's been really good. And the pay wasn't bad either for a good sales person. I had several months of over 30 sales a month and made at least $5000 to $7000. Mind you I worked 6 days a week on a van that started knocking doors at 1pm till 9pm at night and usually got back to the office after 11pm every night. But you have to do unusual work to make good money. If you're down on your luck I'd give it a try. Worst that could happen is you learn about how much desire you truly have.
