Kirby Vacuums Through K & R Distributing Kirby Vacuum K & R Used bait and switch tactics to recruit me as an employee Lewiston, Idaho

I recently replied to a job advertisement in the local classifieds, that offered a job with a monthly salary of $1825.00 in the departments of customer service, sales and management trainee. I went to the interview and was told if I am hired, I would need to start immediately. I received a call that same night for the job offer, and would need to start the following day. I quit my current job with no notice, and felt terrible about that, but the Kirby (K & R) manager told me it was the only way to be hired. I showed up the next day and found myself filling out papers that stated I would be working for free the first few days. I asked the manager why this was not explained to me during the interview and he stated "because you didn't ask". Okay, then I came to find out it was a independent contracting position, and the $1825.00 only applies if I made 2 demonstrations to customers a day (which there was no guarantee I would have 2 customers a day). I was also required to be at work at 10am everyday, and they would shuttle me to a neighborhood and wait for me to sell something. I could expect to work until 10 or 11 pm until something was sold. They were my ride back to the office. This does not qualify and an independent contractor due to control issues. I quit after the first 1 or 2 customers practically held a crucifix in my face when I told them I was with Kirby. I am reporting this company to the IRS, BBB, local labor departments and to the Tribune classifieds for false job recruitment advertising and illegal employee classification in order for the company to avoid paying taxes. They haven't seen the last of me!!!
