Knipatt Knipatt.com AT&T ATT small charge fraud fraudulent Internet

A small, random charge was discovered against my checking account in the form of a Debit purchase.  Since the charge amount and description looked unfamiliar, I looked into this more.  Looking up the company, there are a few reports on RipoffReport.com on them over the past 2 weeks with similar stories; a common theme (though not exclusive) is the folks who have seen charges from this website have also used an AT&T pay kiosk (a station setup in Authorized AT&T stores to make payments.  (Mine was in Cary, NC - I saw there was another report near Charlotte, the others were other states).

These small charges are usually methods to test the waters for bigger thefts.  I've reported this to my bank who cancelled my debit card before a bigger charge goes through.  Additionally I've called into AT&T Customer Service team and asked to speak to a manager to let them know they MAY be victims of a trojan horse/worm.

I would recommend if anyone else finds this thread and it fits your situation; besides calling your bank... please spend the 10-15 minutes it will take you to sit on hold for an AT&T manager and report this.
