This company pretends to be servants to the public yet they ripped me of on a short sale of my Anaheim, Ca. home. The convince you they are a non-profit organization yet they are sharp, shrewd businee people who will take advantage of you. My experience was a short sale in Anaheim, Ca. April 2014. They took advantage of legal resources to undersell this home and short the lender. Not good. I would not recommend that you deal with them.

Report -2014-05-14---- What Kristine Taylor Philanthropies states is true. A bad divorce situation and a difficult short sale are the facts. Kristine Taylor Philanthropies is a good and upstanding non-profit organization working to benefit many disadvantaged people. Our situation was compromised by less then acceptable listing agent representation. My apology is in order if anything was said to discredit this reputable non-profit company. Respectfully Anahiem, Ca. seller of short sale property -2015-01-15.

A good thought but there are holes in this story

Yes, the ex-spouses were at odds but conveniently the buyer, the ex-wife and her slick agent maneuvered the legal system to get what they wanted. Sorry but I don't feel this was a straight up deal. There is no reason with a court order and a short sale that anyone would have reason for being treated unfairly. People do play their games. Perhaps I'm a 'one in a million gone wrong' but I don't think so .... All the facts and truth will soon unfold. Watch for a follow up from this writer. Sellers beware.

Clarification and retraction regarding Kristine Taylor Philanthropies

Kristine Taylor Philantropies support good causes and truly help many people. I make no representations or proof this company is corrupt or not upstanding. In my particular situation the legal system, a slick agent and a vindictive wife to manipulate the sale to their advantage. This is my own personal experience. I would not do business with them nor would I refer them for purposes of purchasing a real estate short sale. I'm a full time real estate Broker and agent for nearly 40 years in Souther California. In my opinion the transaction was unethical and not handled in a professional manner. BEWARE!

First of all, Stuart's last name is Mark, not Broker.
I, Barbara Mark, was the joint tenant co-owner with Stuart Mark on this transaction of a short sale on our investment property home in Anaheim, Ca. This short sale was the product of a divorce settlement between Stuart Mark and myself (Superior Court of California, County of Orange, Case Number 07D005121).
The Philanthropies purchased the home from the Bank through a negotiated and accepted offer that the Bank thoroughly investigated with full background searches on The Kristine Taylor Philanthropies and appraisals Prior to approving the offer.
The Philanthropies hired no legal resources and did not short the lender.
Stuart Mark, however, filed five bad faith bankruptcies in one year through his attorney, Kurt Elkins, who is reviewed on this site (and Stuart Mark will soon be as well). These bankruptcies were filed to block the foreclosure sale so Stuart Mark could continue his third year of living in the back guest house without making any payments forcing the community asset deeper and deeper into foreclosure Statius.
Stuart Mark is a struggling and sorrowful real estate broker in Garden Grove, Ca. His goal was to short the lender by pocketing an extra $15,000. From a short sale to a different buyer. Stuart Mark made the mistake of documenting this iillegal intent into an email he wrote which was read by the lender. The lender immediately rejected this offer in favor of the honest offer by The Kristine Taylor Philanthropies.
That the Kristine Taylor Philanthropies should have their good name smeared is Blesphemy. On March 6, 2014 I personally attended a fund raiser for breast cancer awareness and prevention sponsored by the Memorial Care Cancer Institute of Orange Coast Memorial Hospital. Kristine Taylor, herself a breast cancer survivor and introduced to the audience by various Heads of Staff and Medical Doctors, was one of the main speakers for the event and received a standing ovation.
Kristine Taylor has just returned from Vietnam Nam where she with a team of volunteer dentists distributed thousands of toothbrushes and free dental care to children in the rural villages of Viet Nam.
Stuart Mark, meanwhile, after mooching off the property for free for three years wasting the community asset is currently still mooching off living for free in the property waiting for the eviction attorney to complete process as of today, April 24,2014.

Unfortunately this was a case where a ex-wife and husband owned a home jointly. The ex-husband would not cooperate with the sale of the property and the ex-wife had to get a court order to execute this sale resulting in the ex-husband feeling disgruntled.
