I was also ripped off by Kristy and Matt Buchanan dba K&M Enterprises. To make a very long story short. I obtained them from Criag's List to do remodeling on my home. My wife and I met with Matt twice, and me like an idiot, gave him 1800.00 down payment on the work performed. He was supposed to perform the work while we were out of town, and all I received were excuses, father died in Belize, truck dead, etc. He then stopped responding to E-Mails and phone calls.
I intend to pursue this to the end.. Even though I was stupid, I don't want anyone else ripped off by them. I would be more than happy to be contacted by the news media regarding them. I am filing in civil court, but that takes a lot of time.

Please, i need any info you have on Kristy Buchanan. She owes me Thousands $$$$
It's her mother house (That is what Matt told me). Let's get together and fight this. It's has to stop. They tried to get me to texture someone ceiling in orlando who was out of town. Glad i didn't i never got paid for painting for them at Tides Waterfront Hotel in Melbourne, Fl. And Matt is hiding from the police all ready. Thats why he put everything in Kristy's name. Good now they both can go to jail.

I felt it necessary to update my report since other individuals are requesting information on these thiefs. I know that she has an occupational license with Volusia County #2007102202. their registered address is 1513 Granada Ave Daytona Beach FL 32117 and their home number is 386 492-3377. The woman who owns the property is Lydia Pate. I think she must be a relative, as their is a homestead exemption on the property. I have sent her a letter to that address in case she doesn't know she is harboring thieves. I also have Kristys DL# obtained from my check that she cashed, and a thumbprint. My timeframe on this nightmare was Nov 27- Dec 11. Anyone who would like to help us prusue them is welcome to use this information. Following is the last E-Mails that I received from them-
Dear Mr. xxxxx,
I myself would like to say that I am sorry that we didn't contact you about what was going on. My mind is all over the place and I wasn't thinking. You can go to http://www.vcservices.vcgov.org/buildzone/ContractorLicensing/olquery.asp and see my license is through volusia county. Search by owner phone which is 386-492-3377. I am really sorry.
