Kurtz Enterprises Inc. and Capital One Fraud! Rip-off! Myrtle Beach South Carolina

After hurricane repairs were made, I finally had a chance to reconcile my Capital One credit card account starting with the July statement. I found an unfamiliar charge from Kurtz Enterprises Inc. Myrtle Beach in the amount of 14.95. I was unable to locate a receipt and called Capital One.

While I was on hold I did a Google search and found this site. The representative from Capital One explained that since the charge was more than 120 days old they could not dispute the charges with Kurtz Enterprises but due to the small amount involved they would credit my account for the amount.

The troubling aspect of this is the Capital One representative said the charges were complete with my address and telephone number. This concerned me enough that I called Capital One's fraud department. I explained to the representative that I had a concern about the information I found on this web site and posed the question should I have a new card issued? The response was I should only take action if fraudulent charges were repetitive on my account and the Internet was full of bogus reporting sites against many companies. I could not ascertain if they were referring to this site.
