LA Weight Loss Rip-off lied too decieved Abbotsford British Columbia

My friend was a new client that just joined LA Weight Loss in Abbotsford BC. She is hearing impaired. She spoke to someone there before joining. The girl mentioned that she will be paying full amount of the cost of joining the program. She did show her information about the vitamin and snacks bar, etc. She repeatly asked if it was include in the program, the girl said yes but she could decide later if she wanted to purchase more bars later. She never told her the prices for any of products or how it worked exactly. So she paid full amount of the program.


Then within 5 days, she went in to see a follow up counselor. She was pushing her towards paying over 1000 dollar for bars that she was told was included. She felt so pressured from her. She just paid a lot of money to join up and if she knew how much it would cost for bars, and how the rebate worked, and everything, she probably wouldn't have joined in first place. She was never shown the back of the form that states that she is required to purchase LA Lite bars to be eligible for the rebate; She just found that out the other day.


She requires interpreter to communicate and it can be difficult to communicate without an interpreter present with her.She felt disappointed that she was pressured to pay a lot of amount of money for bars. The girl did pressured her to buy vitamins and she repeatly said she only was interested to pay one at time or a month supplement but she felt upset that she kept pressuring her over again and again. Again, she wasn't interested to buy all products all at once, she was interested to go day to day and lose weight at the pace that she needed to lose with help and not be pressured by them to buy products. Now she want all her money back due to them not informing her of the added costs.

They did talk her into over 428 Dollars of bars that she found out later that same day when she tried to return them that they are hers now..... let all your friends know that it doesnt matter how much they smile and ring that damn bell if you lose weight ....they are only after the money ........ I think their new motto should be ........"lose more money then weight" if she would of not cancelled her contract it would of worked out to a weight cost ratio of 110 dollars a pound ...... and that is on the cheap side without the vitamins they wanted her to purchase....
