LA Fitness sneaky contract exiting tactics Easton, Pennsylvania

Be weary of these people and do not trust them when they tell you anything regarding your membership.  We asked several staff members about cancelling our training contract at which point all staff said not to worry about it-that it automatically expires. WRONG. This is contract renews itself month to month and will continue to charge you until you cancel. Upon calling management we were told something that sounds like she has repeated a hundreds of times-we are going to charge you the first month ,but I promise we will not charge you after that.

Take our scenerio and multiply it by hundreds, maybe thousands of gym members in similar situations and you will see that this poor business ethic and 'gotcha' tactics rakes in a lot of revenue for LA Fitness.

People do yourself a favor and go to a gym where the staff and management have some level of accountability. If someone tells you you are not going to be charged you shouldnt be charged. this is bad business.
