LA Fitness Hurt and ignored ripoff Highland Village Texas

Ok, where to begin. 03/14/07. It was about 10:35 at night. I had just got done with work and went to work out like always. I walked into the La fitness i was a new member of. The employees had there legs kicked up on the desks and taking it easy i guess which shows a lack of work. I work up and did my stretches to get on the tread mill.

After jogging on the tread mill for about 5 minutes i wanted to go jogging like always, same rputine as always. I turned the machine up to 6.3-6.7 miles in hour and no more then 30 sec-1 minute the machines track suddendly stopped. Both of my knees were thrown into different locations. very awkward for me and painfull. 10 sec later the track started again. throwing both of my knees out to different locations once again.

I managed to get my feet on the plastic pieces on either side of the running tread and pushed the stop button. I was limping off the machine while a girl asked if i was ok. I managed to use the railing to go downstairs and tell a employee what happened and come to find out. the 2 males were throwing a football across the whole bottem of the gym over other people working out. They were not trained in how to handle a accident i was told by the manager later that week.

I wrote a letter stating the whole accident. its been almost 3 months since the accident and 3-4 people have been fired over the accident. I have talked to coorperate more then a dozen times and theres been about 2-3 managers at the location so they never know what to tell me. I did go have my knees looked at and i have proof from the x-rays of the damage.

My tibias were pushed up. I retained water in both knee caps and pain in both legs from standing to long. On top of all that i have hard to turn down alot of job offers since i customize bikes and cars and i cant be on my knees to airbrush alot cause the pain will kick in. La fitness is prob the worse company out there with the worst customer service.

Always saying how sorry they are and that they will call, that they will help me out and do whats right yet i have not had any offers for my damage at all. X-rays and all cost money. So i hope they are smart and wanna settle out of court before i have to get a lawyer that will help me settle or to treat them the same they have treated me and thats a shaft in the back.
