Lobel Financial repossed my vehicle After me being behind two months with my payment. Lobel told me that I would have to pay the full loan balance of $14,411.30 within 8days and they was mailing me the letter stating because I needed that to take to the recovery company to get my vehicle. I asked why did I have to pay the loan in full when this was my first repo? They told me because I didn't notify them of my moving addres, which wasnt true.

Three days passed and I called them back because I haven't received the letter. They told me the date it was mailed and where they mailed it to. I was told that they mailed it my physical address and they have never mailed anything to it befored. All of my monthly statements were always mailed to my PO Box. They told me that they don't have that PO box ever being in their system. I asked to have another letter mailed out to me and I was told that they can't mail me another one.

I honestly think that I should have been a or to pay the default on my loan and towing fees and be able to get my vehicle back. I would have been able to do that in 8days than to pay $14,411.30. So it's been 10days since I was suppose to get that letter and still haven't received it and my car is no longer at the recovery company.

Jim's a plant

AUTHOR: G Monroe - ()

POSTED: Saturday, March 01, 2014

Jim is a plant and puts this up on all Lobel complaints.

Let me tell you what happened to me

I paid 32 months of a 36 month loan....or aprox. 9000 on a 5800 loan. The car had issues that amounted to $816, I fell one month behind as a result...they took the car, piled on fees, and charged me $350 for the key since was not there when they took it.  Towed in on a Saturday when tjhey are not opened, and did not apply one moths payment for being $2.16 cents short...when I went it they said If I paid the $2258 (including a full extra month for the $2.16 month for some reason) total I could pay off the car..I had 8 days.  I coud only pay $1400...bye bye car.  Sad.

Read The Contract

Lobel is a SUBPRIME lender.  You are dealing with a SUBPRIME lender because YOU have a history of NOT paying your bills in the past.  Here we are today and you aren't paying them on time either.  What a surprise.  The contract no doubt says they can declare the entire amount is due and payable whenever they decide.  Apparently they don't trust you.  They don't want to deal with you and your CONTINUED late payment of your bills.  The nexct step is they will sue you for that same amount plus costs.  Next time, pay your bills so nobody can "REPOSS" your vehicle.  What I'm wondering however, is if they give that car back to you, is that called a "POSS"?  Before it is even remotely suggested because you don't like what I've had to say...I don't work for them.
