Bought a steamer from Thane Direct, was offered 30 day ''free trial'' (cost 1.60 each) to LV8* Pound Saver and Classic Living. When details came through 3-4 days later I saw that I wouldn't benefit so phoned the number given for both and CANCELLED -the remainder of the ''free trial'' as well as any future membership. 5 weeks on, and they have stolen 89.95 and 39.95 respectively and my bank can't act until at least 15 days after I contact them (LV8*) again. Lo and behold! Can't get through with the 08001077333 number given. Have contacted Thane Direct to inform them of the situation, but looking at the internet they already KNOP this is a dodgy company they're promoting - as soon as I googled LV8* I got page after page of ''Rippoff company - LV88 - credit card fraud...''
