Purchased a Laguna Bay X-6 spa approximately 8 months ago. A month ago the heater went out. Called the company to find out the warranty was parts only. That is of course my fault for not paying attention. They diagnosed it over the phone, and sent the part, or did they. We called numerous times over the next three weeks, where each phone call we were told they would be here tomorrow and they would be sent out then. Three weeks in, they received the part, and we received it a week later. Began the process of putting the heater in, and found that the part was not the same, and that we needed a new circuit board as well. Called them about a new circuit board and they told me that they had them in stock, and that they would send it out in two days after it gets tested. I asked if we could call back tomorrow and see if they were complete, and I would pay to have it sent overnight. My wife called back the next day to pay for the over night,and they told her they had no parts in stock. Nobody contacted us to tell us. They claim they will be in on friday, but this is the same thing they did to us with the heater, kept telling us it would be here tomorrow, always tomorrow. So now, I have the hottub apart in the middle of winter, risking a possible freeze. If I had this to do all over again, I would find a quality manufacturer and pay more for quality.

I will add that the name they gave me of the person that moved the hottub for us bought a furniture dolly to get the hottub to the back yard. when they arrived, they said "We didn't know we would have to move it through the yard". I have never met anyone that actually put their hottub in the driveway, but maybe that is just me. I ended up going to a hardware store, buying plywood sheets to lay down on the yard because obviously the little furniture dolly would sink in the grass with it's one inch wheels.

I will update this as this process moves forward as I have written the company an email, and I will see if they reply and help me out. Likely, with my skills, I will have to call a spa repair person to install the curuit board and incur more costs. I will update though.

Laguna Bay has shipped the correct parts to the consumer. We take customer service very seriously and thrive on referrals from our existing customers. We are sorry that the consumer had a issue, and always stand behind our product. The only way we maintain a A rating with the BBB is because we do try and make all of our customers happy and always offer some type of compensation when a customer does have a unexpected problem such as this.
