Well in July 2011 Our family and friends went to Lake Winnie for a day of fun. There was 10 of us all together. Cost around 300.00 for the whole group.. After we paid we went into the park and we notice half the park was closed down including most major rides and roller coaster..We asked one of the employees how long are the rides gonna be closed down, she said she didnt know but it been closed for over an hour so far...She said might not be back on today but not sure...They didnt tell us this when we spent 300.00 to get in. So we went to Main office to ask for our money back because they committed fraud by not tell us this before we bought tickets..So after about 30 mins waiting on park mgr.. He told us no refunds. I told him that we wasnt informed when we paid for tickets the rides where down, Then he siad if we told everybody this before they paid the park would lose money...Then he got security to remove us from park..he said we was making a scene and other people thats was at office was trying to get their money back too.. Then we called police on them when we got outside of park for theft..After 30 mins of waiting on police. The police said this would be a civil matter and we should take them to small claims court. Ive been coming to this park since i was a kid and never had trouble i take my son every yr but no more...This place i heard had new owners and they are a shady business partners. So we told are our friends and family and we put story on several websites and face book to spread the word about the theft that occur...NEVER WILL GOTO THIS PARK AGAIN!
