Went to ER because I have been having LOW HEART RATE...... haven't been able to take my meds because of this. Go to LRMC & the atmosphere is overwhelmingly weird. Hardly anyone there anymore (which in some cases is good). When I say what is wrong I get told it is because of the meds I take (Did you not hear me say I haven't been taking them?). Then I get in to see a room & not one nurse or Dr was nice. They gentleman who came to get me from waitinf area & I guess seen I wasn't feeling well offered a wheelchair for me since I was going to have to go so far back & I was obviously dizzy (Yes it said it on the paperwork).

The nurses acted like they didn't care. When I told them I wasn't feeling well, my heart rate has been running low, I sleep all the time, my legs are swollen & hurt all the time. The nurse says "If I was on what you take I would be sleepy too & wouldn't be able to wake up either?". Really???? Then I find out the Dr has only ordered urine test, blood work & pee test. How the heck are you going to figure out what is wrong with me doing just that. I have a low heart rate. Could it not show up in my blood or pee? I think so. So after being in the room for about 45 minutes (long enough to run small tests) the Dr comes in & says there is nothing wrong & it is probably a virus.

Is that what they are calling it now? A virus? As I was leaving an elderly lady was walking behind me when a nurse offered her a wheelchair to go out in (Must be nice but I guess age has a lot to do with it huh?). We were walking ahead of her when I heard the elderly lady say, "I guess it is all in my head.". that is sad. You are sending so many people home when they need to see what is wrong. As soon as the Dr had came in my room & I told him what was wrong he already had in his mind what he was going to do. Before leaving the room he said (if nothing MAJOR shows up or something LIFE THREATENING (IMMEDIATELY) he isn't going to admit me.

Did I ask you that? Are they really only looking for people who are being dragged in???? Do you have to be almost dead or dead to get seen? Basically if you go in talking you are well enough to be sent back home. Makes me wonder if this is how healthcare will be for now on. LRMC use to be good they would see anyone & would be nice & considerate. But not now. It is all about money & business.  Not about the wellness of others. This BS of going to their web site to see "The story of..." is a total put on. You don't see anyone on there saying what has happened & how they need to fix it.

And notice there is only 2 & it has been recent??? How about the elderly lady who get sent home thinking what was wrong was "in her head" or me for that fact who's heart rate is around 60 - 64 resting / sleeping & maybe 68 - 70 walking. Not normal for a person my age, height, weight, & activity. Not to mention I have a history of High BP. I have poor sensitivity everything is numb. Yes I told them this & no nothing was done other than blood & pee test. I think I get better service at McDonalds.
