Todd King, Landlord Inc, owns apartments in Sidney, MT that are in bad need of repairs. He WILL NOT fix anything and has raised the rent four times in a year. The apartment I am moving out of, the toilet wont flush without being plunged and the kitchen sink is in need of repair. The carpets in these units is the 70's shag look and very worn. I was friends with some people that lived in one with black mold in it and they had children...Mr. King DOES NOT give a crap about his tenets and their needs, only about filling his pockets. His rent is raised to the point that families cant afford to live here and are being forced to be homeless because of the housing situation in the oil boom.
He is charging about the same rent as a brand new apartment down the road. My family has to move into a 27 foot fifth wheel because we cant afford his rent or security deposits. WE even had a VERBAL agreement before he had his so-called manager call and ask our names and PRETEND she was writing a lease for us when in reality it was an eviction notice.
I hope people move from these slums and he cant fill them again because of his greed. If you have a family, I would advise against moving in to the "Cottonwood Complex" because Todd King is a slumlord and dont care about you!!!
