I WAS ALSO TOWED AND HAD TO BORROW THE MONEY TO GET MY VEHICLE BACK. I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS THIS PERSON AS I ALSO LIVE AT THE LODGE AT FRISCO BRIDGES. THIS HAS REALLY SET ME BACK. I NO LONGER FEEL COMFORTABLE HERE. I AM NOW CONSTANTLY WONDERING IF WHEN I WAKE UP THAT MY CAR IS GOING TO BE GONE FROM MY OWN PARKING LOT HERE WHERE I PAY RENT. I AM LIVID.

I HAVE ALSO HAD THE SAME TREATMENT FROM LARAMAR PROPERTIES WHEN CALLING TO LET THEM KNOW THE INJUSTICE THAT HAD HAPPENED ON THEIR PROPERTY. I CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. SO, I CONCLUDE THAT THEY DON'T CARE AND AM WANTING TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT LARAMAR PROPERTIES.

I WAS NEVER GIVEN A STICKER TO PUT IN MY WINDSHIELD AND SO SHOULD NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. LARAMAR SHOULD REIMBURSE ME BECAUSE THEY NEVER GAVE ME A STICKER.

Sounds Like A Simple Solution Is Easy To Find

Pretty easy solution would be to refund their money i've heard lots of other examples.

I also know they've set up resident groups that are meeting via a letter that a resident sent to mailboxes the other days and I've also seen other reports and the website (((Redacted))).

TOWING VEHICLES FOR FUN AND PROFIT

AND HERE IS HOW IT COULD WORK... HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING...

A WRECKER DRIVER MAKES A DEAL WITH WHOEVER IS SUPPOSED TO ISSUE THE PARKING PERMITS --THE NO TOW DECALS --THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO PUT ON RESIDENT VEHICLES. THE WRECKER DRIVER GUARANTEES THE OFFICE MANAGER OR ASSISTANT OR WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE SO MUCH PER VEHICLE THAT GETS TOWED.

IT COSTS MONEY TO ISSUE THOSE DECALS ANYWAY BUT HERE IS A CHANCE TO MAKE CASH ON THE SIDE THAT IRS WILL NEVER SEE.

IF IT IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM, THEN A SECURITY OFFICER OR MAINTENANCE MAN MAY BE IN ON THE SCAM.

AND SO, YOUR VEHICLE IS TOWED TO A HEAVILY FORTIFIED LOT WHERE OFTEN CROOKED EMPLOYEES SEARCH IT ( IF THE WRECKER DRIVER AND HIS ASSISTANT DON'T BEAT THEM TO IT) AND ANYTHING OF VALUE THAT THEY FIND UNDER THE SEATS, IN THE GLOVE BOX OR ASH TRAYS OR POCKETS BEHIND THE SEATS OR IN DOOR PANELS IS TAKEN.  THEY LOVE LOOSE CHANGE AND JEWELRY BEHIND AND UNDER SEATS. ITEMS THAT YOU MIGHT NOT MISS RIGHT AWAY AND BY THEN YOU WILL HAVE FORGOTTEN WHERE THEY WERE. A GOOD THIEF CAN HAVE YOUR ENTIRE VEHICLE PROWLED AND RIPPED OFF IN 2-3 MINUTES OR LESS!

AND PROVE THAT THEY TOOK ANYTHING!

NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY ABOUT $290 HERE WHERE I LIVE TO GET YOUR VEHICLE OUT OF THE IMPOUND LOT. WHAT A RACKET!

IF THIS IS HOW IT WENT DOWN, THEN YOU HAVE PLENTY OF REASONS TO BE UPSET.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT THIS WHY YOUR VEHICLES WERE APPARENTLY TOWED ILLEGALLY!


I AM ALSO SURPRISED THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TWO NUMBERED PARKING PLACES NEAR YOUR APARTMENT RESERVED FOR YOUR USE ONLY!

I TOOK THE LIBERTY TO LOOK UP LARAMAR GROUP -- HAS A YUPPIE-STYLE NAME SO THAT LETS ME KNOW I WOULD NOT WANT TO LIVE AT ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES.

THEY SAY THEY ARE ALL ABOUT PEOPLE, PROPERTIES AND POTENTIAL.

THEY ARE A PRIVATELY HELD REAL ESTATE COMPANY  CO-FOUNDED IN 1989 BY JEFF ELOWE OF ELKOR REALTY.

THEY CLAIM THEY TARGET INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES OF SENIOR CITIZEN HOMES, MULTIPLE-USE AND MULTIPLE-FAMILY PROPERTIES.

I AM WONDERING IF YOU PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT ADDRESSES TO CONTACT THEM OR HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY CONTACT THEM IF YOU ARE TAKING LEGAL ACTION.

LOOK OVER YOUR LEASE AGREEMENT AND MAYBE YOU NEED TO GO TO YOUR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OFFICE IN PERSON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE GETTING TOWED.

IN MY APARTMENT COMPLEX, WE ARE REQUIRED TO PUT OUR VEHICLE DESCRIPTION ON OUR LEASING APPLICATION OR ELSE IT WILL GET TOWED.

IF THEY REQUIRED YOU TO DO THE SAME --AND YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT THE COPY OF YOUR LEASING AGREEMENT AND YOU HAVE THE RECEIPT FROM WHEN YOU HAD YOUR VEHICLE TAKEN OUT OF THE IMPOUND LOT WHICH SHOULD INCLUDE THE VEHICLE DESCRIPTION AND THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER AND HOW MUCH WAS PAID TO REDEEM IT AND WHERE IT WAS TOWED FROM, THEN LARAMAR MIGHT BE ABLE TO BE SUED IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT.

THE BURDEN OF PROOF MIGHT BE ON YOU TO PROVE THAT YOU NEVER RECEIVED THE NO TOW DECAL.

BUT RENTS RECEIPTS WITH YOUR NAME ON IT CAN PROVE THAT YOU ARE THE RIGHTFUL OCCUPANT OF THE APARTMENT COMMUNITY AND SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD YOUR VEHICLE TOWED. UTILITY BILLS FOR THE SAME ADDRESS CAN ALSO BE PRESENTED.

BUT THAT IS WHAT ATTORNEYS ARE FOR  UNLESS YOU PRESS YOUR CASE IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND YOU CAN GO ON NETWORK TV IF YOU WANT TO SUE ON THE JUDGE JEANINE PIRRO SHOW. GOOGLE IT AND FIND OUT HOW TO SUE ON HER SHOW TO   TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK FOR THE WRONGFUL TOWS.

THE APARTMENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR WHO IS TOWED AND WHO IS NOT AND NO TOW DECALS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ISSUED TO RESIDENTS OF THAT PROPERTY.

The Lodge at Frisco Bridge is Still Towing

This apartment complex is a tragedy. Laramar properties has a whole lot to change.

They are continuously towing the cars of the residents here. More than one resident I spoke with never got a renter's sticker to put on their car and got towed. The apartment complex office does not care even a little bit. No one is being reimbursed and that is unbelievable.
