The so called 'female' Lauren Powers Body builder, model etc. is nothing of the sort. That person is nothing but another scam artist and now got caught manufacturing event tickets illegally, together with a printshop owner in Orange County, counterfeiting and selling event tickets to unsuspecting people. At the last event, the EMBASSY BALL in Irvine, CA, one of the largest professional ballroom dance events in the country, the event security - consisting of LAPD off duty Police Officers - nabbed Lauren Powers selling counterfit tickets and subsequent investigation determined that - together with a print shop owner named Mary Johnston - they have been doing this for many events in the area and nationwide for a long period of time. The case has been turned over to the US Secret Service and several formal complaints have been filed.
The organizer of the ball Mr/ McDonald was outraged: "I am very disappointed in these persons, we have been supporting Lauren Powers' desperate efforts to become a known celebrity for years only to find out that that person is nothing but a fraud and took advantage of our friendship just to defraud us for a few Dollars". Lauren Powers has for years tried to become more than that person actually is. Appearing in a few commercials as a background person and promoting an image of a coming 'star', nothin could be farther from the truth. A scam artist with a very questionable history. This time though, prison time is certain.

I have known Ms Powers for 10 years and I can tell you without any reservations that this report is utterly false. Ms Powers is:
A) In fact a celebrity
B) Is trustworthy
C) Is a person whose integrity is beyond reproach.
I am 100% certain that once this get to court, Ms Powers will prevail, and the person making the allegations should be sued for slander and libel. Additionally, if this person is an officer of the law, they should be dismissed immediately! These are NOT the kind of people we want enforcing laws!

Internet? Yes it is a great tool, but at times can be harmful. This site allows anyone to write anything about anyone, anytime. yes dangerous! I would personally like to take the time to apologize to my family, friends, and fans that had to be exposed to such ridiculous statements made about me!! There was no nabbing, no arrests, no investigations, no Secret Service.. please and certainly no prison. This is one man's insecurities with himself. I do not take such allocations against me lightly so as you can see below this is now under investigation with Internal Affairs against the involved party. Slander, defamation of character and libel are serious charges and will be dealt with accordingly. Again to all of those whom personally know me and realized how out of line this was thank you for your support! Please continue to enjoy my inspiration of being a role model of health and fitness. Again follow your dreams and never let anyTHING or anyONE get in your way!! Love to you all..

I was there these are not the facts. There appears to be a conflict of interests here. The person alleging a crime accured has already come to the conclusion that Ms. Powers is guilty without any official investigation or conviction. Oh yes and his mom owns the dance production company and he was selling tickets and working security using his official capacity as local police officer. I know this to be fact because after Ms. Powers turned down his attention he approached another woman and provided her with tickets at no charge. This "gentleman" might want to put the facts ahead of his ego.

The statements about Ms. Powers amount to defamation, specifically libel. There has been no investigation or conviction. Ms. Powers unwittingly bought counterfeit tickets, as did several other attendees, making them victims of the fraud, not the perpetrators of it. The officer referenced did not "nab" or arrest or investigate. He has no part in any proceedings. Ms. Powers is not charged with a crime and is not under any investigation. The inaccurate and very vocal nature of the officer's comments will possibly cause him to incur liability and/or suspension from duty if he does not desist...
