Laurie Davis is a Halifax NS native who has been running this PEP scam successfully for many years. If you google Laurie Davis PEP you will find she has been convicted of securities fraud in PEI for ripping off people there and in BC they put out a public warning and sanctioned her from operating PEP in that province.
Her scam is offering self help courses and seminars. These usually turn into a pyramid scheme where the victims are encouraged to lure in other victims to recoop the money they "invested" in PEP. The end is the same, nobody but Laurie Davis gets paid. She tried to open up shop here in Wallace NS but after she sent out press releases claiming her PEP program would create hundreds of jobs the newspaper Halifax Herald did a story on her, showing her criminal convictions.
When the story appeared Laurie and Ron Davis were quick to leave town and never returned. They claimed to have bought a house here but the owner was left empty handed and has since put the house back on the market.

Getting a pardon after a criminal conviction does not erase the fact there was indeed a criminal crime committed, prosecuted, and convicted to prison.
In law, it is black and white.

A Crime That Never Existed

I have never been arrested. I have never committed a crime. I have never been fingerprinted or properly photographed. I have no criminal record. How can this be? However without due process I spent time in jail. I left Wallace NS when we heard our daughter in Edmonton was critically ill. That happened to be the very day CBC landed in Wallace in an effort to run me out of town. Not sure why that was.
We are living in a country where an innocent person can be pulled off the street and incarcerated when no crime has been committed.

Re: Judment Call
Ask yourself this question. Have you ever been wrongly judged for something you have done in the past? I am quite sure we can all answer yes to this. Whether we have gone through bankcruptcy, or made some poor choices that have in turn caused us to have a load of debt, im sure we can all relate. Things in our lives can easily catapult out of control if not addressed in a timely manner. I choose to remain anonymous because who I am is not the issue, but who Laurie Davis is, is what is important. Laurie is a kind and loving person who does not judge people by their walk of life, but by the life they have walked. She may be guilty of having a poor financial judgement in the past, but it has nothing to do with the programs she has to offer. I have seen nothing but good come from her programs to help others, and she has made life altering impacts on the individuals she has seen, which has in turn created a much positive and greater hope for the future. I am not a client of Laurie's, so please do not think I have been brain washed in any way. The only brain washing that needs to be done, is people removing the negativity in their lives that causes them to believe what anyone else has to say to be the truth. I cannot speak for others, but I am a good judge of character, and Laurie is a person who anyone would be blessed in their life just to have had the opportunity to meet her. Make your own judment call in your life, and form your own opinions of others. Just because someone says something is one way, does not make it true.
