After having been hung up on 8 times today I finally got someone on the phone. They were supposed to close a file that should have never been filed. GMAC closed the file 4/23/09 on the phone with Beth Gurney while I listened to the conversation. They went ahead and ordered an answer to be filed by my condo association on 4/27/09 which is trying to charge me $275.00 even after the case had been closed. I was just told that as late as June 4th an entry was made on public records regarding this file as if it were still pending and open. I then went online and saw that GMAC mortgage and the offices of David Stern have both been listed in many complaints in reference to the rip off of clients in the same boat.
